Boutique hotels can sometimes be hit or miss, but this place did not disappoint. The Regency Hotel, especially the lobby and dining area, was beautiful and charming. The staff was helpful and polite. The hotel is located on the edge of a park in a quiet neighborhood-feeling area of Florence, which we liked. However, this meant that it was about... more

Stayed for 4 nights. Part of Amex Fine hotels program so got an upgrade to the suite. Very nice room. Lousy breakfast. The eggs were cold every day; coffee was burnt and the spread was worse than a Hampton Inn. Conceirge was terrible. No followup. Forgot to mention that the restaraunt i wanted to celebrate my wife's birthday was full.... more

We stayed here on a special from lastminute.com for our silver wedding anniversary and we really could not fault the hotel, in terms of value and service. It is quite small and personal, within about 10 minutes walk from the Duomo, but the staff were wonderful and very helpful. The first night we stayed in a room overlooking the square... more

Just returned from a two night stay in the Regency. What a pleasure it was - from our first meeting with the concierge, to staff advice on how to get to the airport when we left, our 48 hours there were a delight. We stayed in one of the smaller rooms, overlooking the front of the hotel and the park.... more

The Regency is a small, charming hotel. It is away from the hustle and bustle of the city center, but only a short ten minute walk to the Duomo, etc. The staff is very courteous and helpful. Rooms are large, very clean and well appointed. Breakfast in the dining room (overlooking a lovely jewel box sized garden with outdoor seating)... more

Have just returned from 3 nights at the Regency, beautiful hotel, excellent staff, a real gem. The hotel is situated about 10 - 15 minutes walk from the centre, overlooking a lovely piazza, a good chance to walk and digest some of the amazing food that the city has to offer. Our room was lovely, with a view over the... more

Myself and my wife booked this hotel via lastminute.com for an anniversary trip to Florence. This hotel is not 5 star quality - but it is a very good 4 star hotel. The staff were extremely helpful, and the room was nice and quiet with it's own minibar and safe. The garden area is to a very pleasant area to... more

This hotel has first class service and all of the staff were extremely accommodating and helpful. We staying in a room with a private balcony overlooking the park. The room was extremely large and comfortable. The breakfast had an excellent selection and eating in the private garden was a great way to start the day. I would highly recommend! more

My husband and I just came back from a fantastic week end in Florence, and if the sites and museums were breathtaking, the hotel was rather good too. It was in a very quiet location, away from the buzz of the centre, but still within10min walk from the Academia, a bit more for the Uffizzi. So just a perfect location.... more

Stayed here for four nights in late September. Our room was quite large with many electrical outlets, and nice sized bathroom. The location was a great compromise--walking distance to just about everything but still in a quiet area. The park across the street had a lovely carousel and attracted locals with children and dogs--a great place to people watch for... more
