Stayed for 4 nights. Part of Amex Fine hotels program so got an upgrade to the suite. Very nice room. Lousy breakfast. The eggs were cold every day; coffee was burnt and the spread was worse than a Hampton Inn. Conceirge was terrible. No followup. What a pleasure it was - from our first meeting with the concierge, to staff advice on how to get to the airport when we left, our 48 hours there were a delight. The Regency is a small, charming hotel. It is away from the hustle and bustle of the city center, but only a short ten minute walk to the Duomo, etc. The staff is very courteous and helpful. This hotel has first class service and all of the staff were extremely accommodating and helpful. We staying in a room with a private balcony overlooking the park. The room was extremely large and comfortable. The breakfast had an excellent selection and eating in the private garden was a great way to start the day. I would highly recommend! more

My husband and I just came back from a fantastic week end in Florence, and if the sites and museums were breathtaking, the hotel was rather good too. Stayed here for four nights in late September. Our room was quite large with many electrical outlets, and nice sized bathroom. The location was a great compromise--walking distance to just about everything but still in a quiet area.
