Our room was facing the main street, but there was no outside noise. Clean, comfortable beds, simple but nice decoration. Compared with the other hotels we stayed in Italy, the variety of food served at breakfast was quite satisfactory.

We stayed at the B & B in Centro in August for 2 nights while we stayed in Florence. This room has a great local feel and provides "just the necessities" for your stay. The room was small but had good air conditioning and was next store to a grocery store, which was a nice convienence. The breakfast was provided... More

Hi Tracy, Thank you so much for having reviewed our bed & breakfast, I'm sorry you found the room small ... the measure of our rooms (16 sqm) is much higher than the average hotel in Florence (11 sqm). I am also sorry that you found the room to "basic". In our view, double room with bathroom, breakfast, bed linen... More

Great place to stay when travelling to Florence. In centro is about a 25 minute walk from the centre of Florence with all its sights and attractions, so it's not quite as central as the name suggests, but still accessible and its a lovely walk. I would describe this as more of a small boutique hotel with just bedrooms. Each... More

Hello I'm sorry that you found the bed uncomfortable. Our rooms have orthopedic mattresses, maybe you're not used to this. Our B & B is located 300m from the gateway to the historic city center, a 15-minute walk from Old Bridge - Palazzo Pitti and Boboli garden. For us, the breakfast bar pastry is a strong point, because it has... More

We stayed at B&B In Centro for 2 nights during our honeymoon through Italy. Biagio greeted us with a warm welcome and helped with our luggage. He gave us great information about the area and recommended some restaurants that were more reasonably priced than in the center of the tourist area. We arrived by car and easily found paid parking... More

We spent two nights in BnB In Centro in May 2013. The room was spacious enough and near the city center. We had breakfast in a nearby cafe (included in the room price), where you can choose two among many Italian pastries. Pros: - Free Wifi - Spacious room - In walking distance from city center (about 15 minutes) -... More

B&B In Centro is a tad far from all the action but if you are willing to walk or catch public transport, this is the ideal accomodation for you. The room, bed , actually everything is a bit basic. Ours (lilac) was facing the main street but the double glazing blocked out most of the noise. The B&B served its... More

We have just checked out from BB in Centro. We are very happy with the warm service provided by Biagio. The rooms were more than sufficient for all our needs. We had breakfast in a local patisserie, with tickets provided by the B & B which was very good. Biagio were more than helpful providing all the necessary needs we... More

I must agree with everything from the previous reviewer. We had a wonderful stay here! The staff was very helpful at pointing out good "non-tourist" places to eat and the room was fantastic. We had air conditioning, our own bathroom, a day bed and a queen bed with a tv and wi-fi. The breakfast at the local patisserie was really... More

We had a lovely stay here!! Biagio was lovely, really helpful with local suggestions and gave us full privacy! Wifi worked perfectly and air-conditioning too!! Breakfast at local patissiere was FANTASTIC (just be prepared for sugar- but such a lovely experience) and was easy to find! Lovely 15min stroll into the center of town- we were grateful not to be... The room was ok, nothing great, but we were only sleeping and showering there, so no big deal. It was clean and a bit out of the way. We walked from the train station, which did take longer than I would have liked, especially when hauling the luggage, but we wanted to save on cab fare. 2nd floor on a... More
