Firstly, we booked a room for 7 people, however this was not possible and so we were separated into two rooms. The man at reception was rude, unhelpful, smoked like a chimney and just stared at you as you checked in, despite us trying to speak Italian. I agree with other reviews about feeling observed. We were told that we... More

The location of this hotel was good, near the river and easy walking distance from all the attractions Florence has to offer. This, however is where the good things end. Firstly, the man running the hostel is extremely rude. Upon checking in we were stared at blankly for a while before he said a word to us, even though we... More

This hostel is a very cheap choice. Dont expect too much for your money. All, with all if you decide to come I would recommend to take a private room, where you have enough place if you want to stay together with your friends. The rooms are a little bit dark, since there is only one little window. On the... More

The location was good ... The room wasn't spacious and and so comfortable and the room was cold at night. Even free internet access. The beds were quite nice, but the blanket was bad. The shower were not good and the was small bathroom. The staff almost didn't stayed there on weekend to help the guests. It wasn't the best... More

We have confirmed booking 3 weeks before our arrival, and the hostel had already charged us part of the room price and service charge from our credit card. However, just 1 week before our arrival, while we're already on our trip, the hostel just send us an e-mail saying that our reservation had been cancelled ( without telling us why).... More

Well, the place is cheap (too cheap imho, but a friend made the reservation) and has good location. However - there were bed bugs (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bed_bug) in my bed! The night was ruined and now I hope that I did not get bed bugs with me to my home. Grrr!!! The low price of this place does not motivate this kind... More

We showed up at the exact time we said we would, but the overseer acted like he wasn't expecting anyone. He smoked like a chimney in the common room (so no one else used it) After some confusion we were settled into our modest accomomdations. Location was great (walking distance to everywhere), it was quiet. Service was poor (he never... More

If you stay here, best to book the hostel part of it and not the apartment. There was not a hostel room available, so I stayed at the "apartment", which is not located in the same place as the hostel. The apartments don't have WIFI or towels, but they do have dishes and cooking supplies and are conveniently located. One... More

I spent one night at this hostel and I wasn't impressed, to be honest. Although it is near Uffizi and Ponte Vecchio which is very beautiful at night, the hostel is quite far from S.M. Novella Station and you might have to take Bus 23 or Bus C2 to get there (some buses here are small, and not suitable for... More
