I stayed in this hotel for one week, the place is maintained very clean and neat. Staff is very cordial and ready to help. Hotel location is very good just couple of minutes of walking distance from famed Duomo. Given a chance I will stay again in this hotel.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in December 2015. The location is close to all major attractions in Florence. The dining room where we had breakfast is elegantly decorated with beautiful oil paintings in the ceiling. The food choices for breakfast are very good. The room is clean and comfortable. The hotel does not have an elevator. We... More

Plus points : Location was great and close to most attractions. Easy to find. Owners were friendly and gave good recommendations on restaurants. Breakfast was great. Slightly dated decor though everything was clean and working. No lift to get luggage to second floor. Room got a bit stuffy at night.

We only stayed there 2 nights. The location is excellent and the price value good. The rooms are large and clean and the dining room has beautiful paintings on the ceilings. However the walls in the room are totally empty making it feel cold. With a little bit of decoration, the hotel could turn into a beautiful one. Too bad... More

We spent three nights in this hotel in Dec 2014. Room: We had a two-room deluxe, with a beautiful view on the street. The room provides all necessary facilities and is better than many 4-stars rooms I had seen in my life. Location: The hotel’s location is its key advantage. If you want a good located hotel don’t hesitate to... More

Friendly front desk, good service. Easy walking distance to all the sights. Hotel was very clean, although decor slightly dated. But good night sleep and good facilities, what more can you ask for!!! Stayed here for the Florence Marathon weekend.

I really can't add much to the existing reviews; it is a very nice hotel in a very good location, friendly and helpful staff, good restaurants are just a short walk from the hotel as is the train station. Except, hotel reception and the rooms are not on ground level, you will have to go up a flight of stairs... More

On our recent visit to Florence, we stayed five nights at this great hotel. The staff is welcoming, friendly and helpful. The breakfast room is beautiful and there are many breakfast choices. Our room was quiet and comfortable. The hotel is really in the center of all the historic sites (the Duomo and Baptistry are a couple of blocks one... More

Only stayed here one night on business. Very spacious room on the same floor as the reception desk. Quiet. Beautiful room. Good wifi signal. When you arrive in the main hall off the street, you’ll still need to go up the stairs to the lobby. Front desk personnel were helpful day and night. The breakfast room and other sitting rooms... There were so many options for hotels in Florence that it was truly difficult to choose. We did a lot of research and reading and are so glad we ended up here. We really liked how modern and comfortable the hotel felt. Yet, it was still in a historical building with beautiful cultural elements. It was perfect. Even though it... More

Staying in San Lorenzo

Neighborhood Profile
San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo’s lively merchants shout out from behind stalls with an array of products in one of the most traditional neighborhoods in Florence. Different ethnic groups join together in the large outdoor market of San Lorenzo and in the Central Market, a vast multi-floored building. Visitors are bound to fall in love with this area and in particular, with its variety of food, especially those focusing on Florentine dishes as well as international selections. Nobody leaves San Lorenzo without a shopping bag in hand or with an empty stomach.
