My husband and I just stayed here in July2015 and loved this hotel, it is a favourite hotel of our entire trip. It's an old flour mill damaged in 1966 floods which has only been recently renovated and converted into a boutique hotel with 37 rooms, large outdoor pool, large outdoor garden area, terrace restaurant and bar overlooking the River... What a beautiful hotel. Takes a little time to appreciate all it offers. The pool is needed in July and not overcrowded. The staff are great including the lovely Sabrina. The food is good and fresh - service is good to rooms. Shuttle service everyday into Florence great. No downside😄

We had a fabulous time at the Mulino di Firenze which is perfectly situated on the banks of the Arno with birds, butterflies and flowers everywhere - a dream location. We were upgraded on arrival to a room with a view of the river which was a fantastic way to start our two week tour of Italy. The room was... More

Great location, with nice garden and pool area, away from the city of Florence. (shuttle into Florence v.v.) The standard room was very comfortable, but the airco was very noisy. However this got fixed after we mentioned this to Aldo at reception. He was also very helpful in making restaurant reservations for us in Florence. Most importantly he sorted out... More

The hotel is located 10 minutes away from the city center on the Arno riverbank. You get free covered parking in front of the hotel, which is very good. We upgraded our room as the classic room had no view and was very small. The upgraded room was large, the bathroom very convenient and pleasant. The service in the hotel... More

Stayed here in early July. After spending a week in London and Paris we needed a break from the maddening crowd. This was perfect. The room was beautiful. It was a rest from our travels. The breakfast each morning was amazing the food was wonderful but the view was the perfect Tuscan view. Florence was just a short shuttle bus... More

A relaxed elegant hotel in a lovely riverside setting about 5 km from Florence. Exceptionally professional and courteous staff. Lovely rooms. Nice grounds and pool. Nearby restaurants not easily accessible by foot. Good choice at breakfast, but poor quality sickly-sweet cereals and croissants. No tea/coffee-making facilities in room, and very expensive to buy in bar -- 5 Euros for a... More

My wife and I have just had a wonderful honeymoon at this beautiful hotel just outside Florence. Set right on the river Arno, it's a perfect location to relax after a hectic day in the city of Florence, only a 10 minute taxi ride away. The staff were so friendly. Sabrina at reception couldn't do enough for us, even arranging... More

Florence is a very busy city with tourists and traffic everywhere and it' s hard to believe that this oasis is only a 15 minute shuttle bus drive away. Situated beside the Arno river this quiet pastoral setting makes for a great place to relax on the patio after a hectic day touring the city. We arrived late due to... More
