We really enjoyed our stay here. Lots of charm. Having drinks each night at the bar was fun. And the food at their restaurant was very good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It's a bit outside the city, but it's an easy drive into town and the shuttle is also really helpful.

Nice place but: 1.) we upgraded for 'great view of the Arno river....Very small window. Not worth the change in price. 2.) Very nice breakfast spread but eggs were cold each morning. 3.) Coffee Pot at tables got lukewarm very quickly. 5.) The in-room safe didn't work even after it was 'fixed' and yes I know how to work those... More

Dear Tripadvisor User, We are very surprised about your review. We apologize for the problem you have got at breakfast (we never experienced complains at our breakfast) but I will check with our food and beverage department in order to see if what you described (cold eggs and coffee pot) has ever happened as described. We also have checked carefully... More

Stayed in the hotel in July when temperatures were reaching 40 deg C and the hotel was opening its new, modern function suite. This is a charming hotel on the banks of the Arno, a little outside the city and ideal to escape the noise of the city. We stayed in a room in the main building, as opposed to... More

My family recently spent a pleasant night at Hotel Mulino in Florence, before our next-day flight back to the US. The hotel is quite a distance from the city center, but is well worth the taxi ride out to the Arno River where this 14th century renovated flour mill functions as a fantastic modern hotel. The food is farm to... More

We loved the hotel - our rooms were lovely, the service was great. The breakfast served was wonderful, delicious food and great variety. We enjoyed our dinner there as well. The dining room featured an open air option with a view of the Arne river. The only downside was the need to either take a shuttle to and from downtown Florence,... More

Dear Deb K, I am glad to read You had a pleasant stay here at the Mulino, but I am also a bit concerned about what You wrote regarding the "inconvenient" of taking the shuttle bus to get into town... Our quiet and not-central-location is one of the main reasons why Guests decide to book at Mulino, and is well... More

Our recent stay at the Hotel Mulino di Firenze exceeded our expectations for this little property. The customer service, professionalism and attention to detail was second to none through out our entire stay. From the front desk staff, to housekeeping and to the most amazing waiter ever, Ray, we were in good hands from the moment we arrived at the... More

The Hotel Mulino di Firenze offers almost all that you could want in a romantic getaway. My wife and I stayed there a night on our honeymoon in early December. We were welcomed to a spacious room with a spectacular view of the Arno River, friendly service, and the most splendid furnishings that we've had in our two week honeymoon.... More

A little hard to get to but worth it. Very nicely appointed and romantic for couples. We were just a bunch of guys. :) I have to say that the restaurant was excellent! Get the back rooms facing the ricer for the most privacy.

A very comfortable, quiet, and friendly hotel which is also very convenient when travelling by car. The hotel has had some changes since our last visit - a larger outside dining area (overlooking the Arno), and a larger pool. The hotel provides extensive breakfast options and has a truly excellent restaurant. All of the the staff are extremely helpful and... More
