A great place, clean and close to the rail station. Breakfast included served in a bar near by where you can eat a tipical easy/delicious italian cappuccino & cornetto. With a great customer service as well, will make me come back again soon!!! Well done all !!!!!

The location is near to Santa Maria Novella and within a walking distance to pretty much everywhere in the historical center. Room was very clean and cozy, bed perfect - not overly soft, which I prefer. The staff was very responsive and handled small problems without delay - and there weren't many to handle. All in all, my room left... More

The room exceeded my expectations. We traveled via train from Rome and it was a mere 5 mins walk from the main train station. Very convenient for our family of 4. My girls loved the room so much. We had to ring the bell downstairs initially to gain access to the room which was located on the 2nd floor. we... More

This is the best stay during my 17 days europe trip. All the ladies there were so helpful, nice like you wouldnt imagine. They wait us till 9.30 pm while the maximum check in was in 7 pm and still welcome us with a warm smile. Nothing to complain, the room perfectly clean, spacious and has the best heater during... We took the local trains from Vernazza, through Lucca and Milan, arriving in Florence on the afternoon of July 27, 2015. The main Milan train station is huge. Go across the street and past the McDonald's restaurant. La Residenza dell'Orafo is on that street about 2 city blocks on the left. The door is locked so you must ring the... More

The Residenza dell-Orafo is ideally located. It is literally a 5-minute walk from the main train station and an additional 10-15 minutes to the Duomo or (in a different direction) the Ponte Vecchio. Additionally, the staff takes ample time to explain good less well-known sights to see and also offer recommendations on where you can eat for little (or more)... More

This B&B has the potential to deserve a five star rating but on the basis of some minor niggles I think it has to drop to four. First the good points, which far outweigh the bad. The B&B is located close to the main station SMN and relatively easy to find. The residence is on one edge of the historic... More

We chose this hotel for two reason; close to S.M.N train station and great reviews in trip advisor. We stayed here 2 nights during Sept 28and29.The location was indeed very convenient, just opposite to the train station. However, we were disappointed with the room when we arrived. The room was small (and yes it did mentioned when we made a... More
