Short walk to train station and a 5 min walk to the Duomo. Breakfast was worth the €5 per person, kept us filled up for the day. It is on the first floor, and no lift, but they are wide stairs and easy to manage with a suitcase. Staff were helpful, friendly and informative, ready with restaurant recommendations and things... Very clean and comfortable hotel, responsive staff, good location in the city center. Air-conditioning, fan, television, and even electrofumigator, all in good condition. So in the middle of august we didn't suffer neither from heat, nor from mosquitoes. We never had problems with shared bathrooms, also very clean

Not recommended for old people, you have to walk or spend money with taxi to arrive in the hotel. Also, there is many stairs to get in the place. And the breakfast is not included, and it is not worthy to pay for it.

We recently stayed here at the end of our European trip. We found the staff super helpful and eager to sort anything out for us like ordering a taxi or loaning us an umbrella. The room was spotless and comfortable, great bed. There is aircon plus a ceiling fan which really helped as it was seriously hot outside. We had... More

We had a great stay at Loggia Fiorentina the staff were particularly amazing. A great thing to note is that they let us check in around 11am and they can easily store your baggage before you check in or after you check out!! The only downside that I must admit is the comfort of the bed base we had. Unfortunately... More

Stayed there and it was pretty amazing. Despite a low price, the room was really clean, modern, had a shower, sink, fan and air-condition, with a shared bathroom outside. The personnel was really helpful and gave us directions to where we could park. It is not a full-service hotel with concierge service, but if you are looking for a very... More

We visited the hotel when we wanted to visit the city of Florence. We stayed there for only 1 day, just overnight. We stayed in the appartement on the upper floor of the hotel. There we had everything we needed, but not everything was safe as it should be. The elektrical sockets weren't always attached correctly to the wall. In... More

We stayed for only one night, passing through Italy to get to Iceland. It is a unique & beautiful property. Nice deco. Minimalist yet elegant without trying too hard. Quick and easy to book and the staff were very helpful and generous with advise and tips on where to go for good food. Spot on advise! We followed all their... More

Clean, very quiet and well located in a safe area. Comfortable walking distance to Santa maria Novella train station and all the major attractions. Excellent value reasonable sized room like the antique style furniture and artwork which gave it some charm. It is on the first and second floor so there are a few stairs which would only be a... A very decent, clean, budget, no frills hostel/hotel. It was Daniele ( the receptionist) who turned our "good" stay into an "excellent" one. He was friendly and helpful ( going out of his way to help with our last minute car rental reservations), giving general guidance, recommendations and useful tips. A great asset to this hostel/hotel.

Staying in San Lorenzo

Neighborhood Profile
San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo’s lively merchants shout out from behind stalls with an array of products in one of the most traditional neighborhoods in Florence. Different ethnic groups join together in the large outdoor market of San Lorenzo and in the Central Market, a vast multi-floored building. Visitors are bound to fall in love with this area and in particular, with its variety of food, especially those focusing on Florentine dishes as well as international selections. Nobody leaves San Lorenzo without a shopping bag in hand or with an empty stomach.
