This B&B is on the outskirts of Florence with a lovely view of the surrounding area. If you do not come by car, but take the bus, make sure you take the 14A IL Girone bus and get off at Aretina 11; phone Laura or Mauro and they will come and pick you up. The rooms are spacious, very tidy... More

This hotel is an excellent choice for those travelling Italy by car. It is right on the edge of Florence, but only a short drive in. The road to it is narrow and convoluted, but there is parking outside the main gate. The owners live in one building, while the guest rooms are in another. Laura and Mauro are so... More

We called to make a reservation few hours before our arrival and were welcomed immediately. Only the loft was available which turned out to be a charming option. Although the ceiling is a little low, the room has a nice character and is tastefully designed. Walk through the olive gardens and you'll come to an elevated point where you can... More

This bed and breakfast is what one need after the hustle and bustle of the city of Florence. The bedrooms are large with beautiful bed linen. The views are great as well as the opportunity to walk through the olive trees. Breakfast was served with a special touch of class. Good healthy food with beautiful plates, cups and linen. Laura... The room and the bathroom were wonderful. I recommend this B&B if you are on a road trip in Tuscany, and you can go in the day to the center of the city by car (even when is not easy to find parking near the center). The view is great too. It was nice to stay here.

This unpretentious B&B is located in the area of Florence south. You definitely need a car to reach it. To visit the city, you can drive your car to the nearest parking, which is conveniently located within a five minutes’ drive, or you can take a bus. We chose to drive our car to the parking and from there we... More

Perfectly located on the edge of Florence, the Casa di Olivo is tucked into a Tuscan hillside and offers wonderful evening views overlooking the city. The bedroom was comfortable and spacious and breakfast fare was enough to set you up for the day. Laura and Mauro are the perfect hosts, friendly and discreet. There is plenty of space to relax... We're so glad we decided to stay at A Casa di Olivo! We didn't have a car, so it took a little while to get back from the city, but it's an easy trip (just one bus ride and a little bit of walking, no transfers necessary) nonetheless. And I wouldn't have traded it. It was wonderful having such a... More
