This was a great place to stay, even better when you consider the price, nice large room, very comfortable bed, clean and well kept, we stayed 4 nights Lets get the one negative out of the way, there is no elevator and the rooms are up 4 flights of stair, I think that this is common so unless you have... If you are planning to go to Florence and you don't know where to stay let me suggest you the best B&B I haven't been before. In the heart of the Heritage Site of Florence .. beautiful and absolutely clean, with an excellent and professional staff. You will fall in love with the Francesca that will check you in and... Very nice location. Close to major attractions but off from packed tourist streets. Place is ran by family. It is a true italian experience as the building looks tiny in the front yet it isnt in the inside. Room is clean and updated while exterior halls keep their antique charm. Something to consider is this place is on a second... More

Stayed for 2 nights and was really impressed with the room, facilities and location. Room view over courtyard with balcony. Very quiet at night for a place in the city. Breakfast was basic but enjoyable. Specially home made jam. Staircase not for the fainthearted or less able bodied. Few minutes walk from Pitti Palace and Ponte Vecchio.

If you like helpful people, don't look for other places to stay in Florence. They helped us much more than their obligation. It's also a clean, spacious room in a calm neighborhood, 10 minutes walking from Piazza della Signoria.

We stayed here for five nights whilst at a family wedding in Florence. The B&B is spotlessly clean and the staff very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is pleasant, mainly toast fruit and coffees but nice. You get what you pay for in Florence and the accommodation here is basic. The steps are steep so be warned! Perfect choice to stay... We stayed at Beatrice B&B for 5 nights in July. We had the Apollo Room with ensuite bath. Good size room and very nice bathroom. We were excited to have a window with a clothesline because we had been traveling for weeks and needed to do some laundry! The family was very helpful and friendly. The stairs are very steep... Like going back in a time capsule, staying at this B&B was the perfect way to experience the Florence of centuries ago. It is located on a quiet street of antique shops and medieval architecture. While the building is from old Florence and it is a walkup what may be the original stone stairs, the room was charming and included... More

We were really looked after well by the family, who carried our heavy bags up the stairs, and down again when we left. We couldn't work out the buses, and ended up getting a taxi from the train, which was fine. Great location just across the bridge, but walking distance to everything. Air conditioning, great breakfast, comfortable rooms, helpful staff.... More
