The hotel room was beautiful, very big and quiet - we felt like we were the only people in the hotel! It is centrally located and in a wonderful building where tourists peek in to take pictures of the courtyard. The service was very personal and we were given a small painting to take away with us as a memento.... More

The staff is excellent. The owner is very charming and sweet. Some of the rooms have a few steps to get to them so be prepared. The elevator takes you most of the way. The location is excellent. Driving is tricky. We had the garage attendant pick us up in town and take us to the hotel. Rooms are very... More

Such a unique, stunning and authentic hotel could only be found in Florence! Frescos on the ceiling, beautiful public lounge rooms and unique private rooms, each different from the next. Also, there's a nice blend of old beauty and modern amenities such as a/c, modern bathrooms, elevator. What a privilege to have stayed here. This hotel enhanced the whole florentine... More

We stayed at Palazzo Tolomei for 2 nights with our wonderful hostess Daniella. Evening drinks are a must. All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. If you want reservations or recommendations for restaurants Daniella and her merry band will be more than happy to provide excellent suggestions and arrange bookings. The Palazzo is centrally located, within walking distance to... More

From the moment we arrived when we were welcomed by Daniela and Daisy, the entrance to the hotel through its own private piazza is amazing. The reception area is beautiful and when we told Daniela we were on our Honeymoon she put us in the best room in the hotel an apartment with two bedrooms, bathroom, dining kitchen with views... More

Our jaws dropped when we got to this hotel's reception area. The original frescoes on the ceiling are Renaissance and Baroque and will made our stay phenomenal. We went over Thanksgiving and enjoyed incredible weather. However, our room in this palace with all the frescoes on the ceiling, the music room to walk through, the chocolates everywhere--we even had our... More

What a remarkable place to stay! This lovely B&B is located in an old palace just two blocks from the Duomo. Our room was large and, very importantly, quiet. We were taken to it by Daisy, a lovely assistant, and told, "This is your home for the next 3 days." Indeed it was. Daniela, Daisy and Michael made certain that... More

A truly memorable experience, The room was fabulous with its fresco paintings and beautiful decor. Daniela and her staff are top notch and do any and everything they can to make you comfortable and the trip memorable. Her local restaurant suggestions where the locals eat are home runs. Make sure you go to Caffe Pitti for the truffle risotto. Best... More
