we had an excellent 5 nights with Daniela at the Palazzo Tolomei. Have tried many different stays in Florence....but finally found our favorite place. Well located, comfortable and quiet......a real pleasurable staff. They do everything to make one feel welcome....had good recommendations for restaurants......offered an elegant breakfast.

This was a lovely stay for my 30th bday and they sure went above and beyond to make it special. We arrived late in the afternoon and were immediately made to feel like it was our home. After a quick tour, we were shown to our room which was an immaculate suite, equipped with welcome goods and original floors and... More

If your comfortable with antiquities, steps, and history one of best places I have ever stayed. Daniella is a most gracious host and her staff is terrific. A true bed and breakfast atmosphere. I felt like I had a home away rom home. The location is great. The staff could not have been more accommodating. It is not a commercial... More

The room was incredibly large with our own balcony. Interior looked like a 15th century castle or palace. It was absolutely stunningly beautiful. Our stay there lasted a week, and during that week we experienced the fantastic hospitality of the hostess and her employees. Every night before going out for dinner, we talked with them about restaurants, sightseeing and had... More

My second time at Palazzo Tolomei was as wonderful as the first time in 2012. I was invited to a fantastic wedding in Riccione, I just could not get that close to Florence and not visit again. I wnated to go back so badly, that I left my friends in Riccione and went to Florence alone. Daneilla is gracious and... More

If Florence is a romantic fairytale, Palazzo Tolomei is the enchanted castle and Daniela is the fairy godmother. We wrapped up our 3-week anniversary trip here, and our only regret is not being able to stay longer. Daniela and her amazing staff have such affection for their city, their historic palace and their guests that you can't help but feel... More

I am now leaving Florence after a month in this lovely city, and my stay at Palazzo Tolomei was definitely one of the hightlights in my time here. This is a 15th century palace - one of the "historical palaces" taking guests. You are welcomed by Daniela who graciously shows you around her home which she shares with you during... More

Hotel is located in a 500 year old Palazzo (i.e. a small mansion in a city). You walk into the open air courtyard and there is a 400 year old sculpture. Really cool. Located in the middle of Florence, you can walk everywhere.

If you are planning to go to Florence you have to stay here! It's not cheap to stay anywhere but I wanted somewhere authentic and after much research came across Palazzo Tolomei. It's wonderful, I can always find something to gripe about but here absolutely nothing .we loved it, only 8 so very peaceful even though it's central to everything.... More

Not one the palazzo is in the middle of the historical center, with a great atmosphere and historical decor.... But Daniela the owner and the rest of the staff are extraordinaries.... The best solution for a room in Florence! The decor, the ambiance, the location, the charm of the rooms (if you can try the luxury gold suite)... Exceptional !
