Great hotel, perfectly located just 5 minutes from the train station. Clean and comfortable rooms and amazing breakfast! The lack of English wasn't a problem. The owner understood perfectly what we were talking about and made sure we understood him. I would definitely stay there next time I visit Florence.

the hotel is located less than 5 minutes from the train station.Although located in a very busy areaa the hotel is on a quiet side street.my room faced a courtyard. the hotel is in an unimposing building housing other hotels and offices. the hotel is family run, and you are made to feel very at home. The hotel is a bit old, but with wide rooms and comfortable private bathroom. The owner, a typical Italian does not understand too much English, but he manage to help if needed. Very good breakfast, nearby the train station, perfect for a few days in Florence.

We stayed at the Hotel Serena for three nights in June. With 2 kids in tow, we were looking for a hotel close to the train station to made travel and hauling luggage easier. The walk to the hotel from the train station is at most 5 minutes and very easy to find. We were greeted by the family that... More

We enjoyed our stay in this small hotel because of the owners who were so kind and accommodating. We even manage to share some jokes even if we did not really speak the same language. They make you feel at home and they really enjoy what they do. lt was not the best hotel in terms of amenities but it... More

Great location because it's near stazione de santa maria novella. The Italian family gives you space but the small smiles, the 'Buona seras' and 'Buon giornos', and even having the family dog running around you makes you feel that you are part of their home. Enjoy a nice breakfast of rolls, jams and pastries.

I chose this hotel because of the location. I had read that it is a 5 - 10 minute walk from SMN station. It is nearer to 5 than 10. If it takes 10 minutes, you have gone the long way. As you exit the station at the side you will see McDonalds in front of you, keep that to... More

Family run hotel and only the 'son' speaks a little English, but they tried their very best to help. Very clean room. Very close (5-10 mins walk) from Florence SMN station. However, can be a little bit noisy, both from outside the street and outside corridor.

We chose this hotel because of its position, close to the station and to the city centre. The surrounding area was very calm and clean, especially compared to any area near train stations. This small, family run, hotel is located at the 1st floor of an ancient building, but we didn't have any problem with the luggage because of the elevator.... More

This hotel is on the 1st floor and it is very convenient as it is just around the corner from the train station which is great for people travelling around Italy by train. The rooms were lovely and comfortable with lovely fresh fluffy towels provided every day. The breakfast which is included in the room rate was very good with... More
