This B&B is amazing by any standards. Our room was large, well-located, comfortable and had a great view. What really makes this place special is the care and attention of Alain, the head of the B&B. He was so incredibly nice and helpful. He goes above and beyond to make sure that you have a wonderful stay. This is something... More

When we arrived Alain, the host, gave us all the needed information! And the private bathroom! Cool! This b&b is absolutely all the money worth and the host is incredibly sweet and welcoming. Sad that I'm not staying longer! Absolutely recommendable!

Close to the older part of the city, a downside was the hike up to the floor it was on. If you have a medical problem that keeps you from stairs, avoid. The owner graciously welcomed us, and was very hospitable. His recommendations were some of our favorite moments in Firenze!

Had a great experience staying here! Our room was very large with a great view and a private bathroom located outside of the room. We were also greeted with a bottle of wine in the room upon check in. The B&B is situated right on the river which makes it easy to explore the downtown area or go to slightly... More

I really enjoyed my stay here - the bedroom was large and bright (and included a bottle of wine!) and the bathroom (not connected to our room) was nice and clean. This B&B was in a great location to explore Florence on foot and the staff were extremely attentive (showing us how to use the coffee maker and froth milk... More

Our family of 4 had a lovely stay at Il Magnifico. Our room was large and neat, and we had a beautiful view of the Arno and the Ponte Veccio. The host, Alain, was incredibly helpful in giving suggestions and directions to wonderful restaurants and must-see parts of the city and provided us with a bottle of delicious wine in... More

One of the best places we stayed in Italy. Great staff, facilities, and location. It's right on the Arno, and you get great views of the river and Ponte Vecchio. It's also really close to the good restaurants where locals eat-- the owner will point out where to go. I would absolutely recommend, without a doubt.

Definitely worth staying here! Great location just across the river from the Center, near the Ponte Vecchio. We could see the river and the old city from our window! Despite this, it's a very quiet spot. Very clean and warm in the middle of winter, big room and Alain was a great host- and gave us great tips on where... More

Very convenient location, very useful accommodation details (fridge, coffee machine, a simple but generous Italian breakfast, fast & free internet), very kind and caring host with prompt and clear communication (thanks to Alain). We were also impressed with the cleanliness of the facility. Be back in Florence? That will be the place I will stay.

This great B&B is located on the Arno River bank, right in front of the Uffizi Galleries and a block away from the Ponte Vecchio, in a beautiful old Florentine building with an amazing view!!! Alain was very warm, and helped us very much upon arrival and during our stay! He definitely runs the place with great care and interest... More

Staying in Pitti

Neighborhood Profile
Pitti
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
