My stay at Il Magnifico B&B was delightful. Alan was a lovely host, the room and bathroom were spacious and tidy, and the location amazing. Close to the main part of town but also to some of the lovely quieter areas. Would highly recommend this place.

We had an amazing time during our stay in the B&B. There were 5 of us friends and we had booked a 5 person dorm. We had a very large room and an attached bathroom all to ourselves. The room was clean, spacious and had enough space to do things apart from sleeping. We got the front facing room and... More

The B&B has got spcious clean room with great views of the Arno river and the city/major sites, Alain is super friendly and helpful, taught me how to make coffee for myself on the machine and gave me good introduction and info as to what to see and places to eat, he also prepared a bottle of wine in the... I stayed here for 4 nights in Florence and had a remarkable stay at Il Magnifico B&B. Location is great - only a 15 minute walk to most of the attractions with centrale station a short bus ride away (bus stop right out the front door). I received a warm welcome from staff who offered to assist with luggage and... More

Very nice accommodations and great location. Host Alain was very helpful and had great recommendations. Trattoria Casalinga was outstanding. Check out the little park just down the street for a little live music in the evening.

Location is fantastic: you can reach all the hotspots of Florence by foot within 15 minutes. The owner Alain is very welcoming and is always available for questions and tips. We stayed in room number 1 with an awesome view on the Palazzo Vecchio and the Duomo. Bathroom is private but down the hall, not ensuite, but Alain informed us... More

This B&B is amazing by any standards. Our room was large, well-located, comfortable and had a great view. What really makes this place special is the care and attention of Alain, the head of the B&B. He was so incredibly nice and helpful. He goes above and beyond to make sure that you have a wonderful stay. This is something... More

When we arrived Alain, the host, gave us all the needed information! And the private bathroom! Cool! This b&b is absolutely all the money worth and the host is incredibly sweet and welcoming. Sad that I'm not staying longer! Absolutely recommendable!

Close to the older part of the city, a downside was the hike up to the floor it was on. If you have a medical problem that keeps you from stairs, avoid. The owner graciously welcomed us, and was very hospitable. His recommendations were some of our favorite moments in Firenze!

Had a great experience staying here! Our room was very large with a great view and a private bathroom located outside of the room. We were also greeted with a bottle of wine in the room upon check in. The B&B is situated right on the river which makes it easy to explore the downtown area or go to slightly... More

Staying in Pitti

Neighborhood Profile
Pitti
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
