Located just outside the centre, about a 25 minute stroll from the centre, this B&B is on the first floor of a beautiful traditional Italian building. Not far from the area where the locals spend their time we found it the ideal location during our 2 night stop on our road trip through Italy. The owners are extremely helpful and... More

Location: very good. Opposite to center of the city and suggest very good option to visit park/hills around with magnificent views to old city. 25 mins walk from central station along the river. Personnel: friendly and helpful. Advised to contact via phone in case of any delays for check-in, since they are not at place all day long. B&B is... More

We spent a few nights while visiting Firenze, the B&B is located in an old building but it's renovated, modern and clean inside. Location is excellent, walking distance to all the attractions. The staff was really friendly, we also met the owner and praised his coffee machine! Will definitely be back in the next few years. Note: we traveled in... More

This B&B is a very good option to stay in Florence. It is located around 15-20 min walk from Ponte Vecchio, but there is a bus stop just outside the main entrance. It is clean and the staff is very friendly (cheers to Antonio and Silvia!). I liked the breakfast. It includes juices, many options in a coffee machine, breads,... More

Nice cosy room, host was great! Booked with breakfast, can say much about it. Like it that there are tea/coffee/ water provided throughout the day. Wifi was weak. Stairs up was tedious with luggage. Not suitable for family with big luggage.

Hi Mandy, We are sorry if the WI FI was a little low. It was a temporary problem maybe. About the elevator, it is written both on our website and on Booking.com that we don't have one! It is an ancient building. Anyway, we hope you enjoyed your trip and had a nice time here. Greetings from all the staff. More

Nice friendly staff, nice breakfast and nice room, comfy beds. Shower wasn't clean though, a lot of mould. This was such a let down as everything else was great, the location suited us as we had a rented car so it was 15 min walk along the river to the centre.

Everything was charming in this hotel! The room perfectly decorated, very warm and cosy, it made me want stay more than one night! The lady at the reception was very helpful with directions about where to eat or park the car. Public parking is just in front of the hotel and it's free at night. Breakfast was a surprise, as... My friend and I have just spent a week at this delightful B&B. As previously mentioned, this B&B is run by a young couple and has six rooms. The rooms are spacious and clean. The bathroom (while tiny) has everything one could want. The beds are comfortable and we slept well every night. The best part of this place are... More

This is a B & B on the south side of Florence near the Arno, one floor up from street level (no lift), with six rooms. The young couple running it are very kind and the service is invariably helpful. Staying in Piazzale Michelangelo

Neighborhood Profile
Piazzale Michelangelo
Just outside the ancient walls of Florence, Viale Michelangiolo starts. It is a winding road rimmed by wonderful poplars and holm oaks. The long ascent opens up to the most beautiful and famous panoramic viewpoint of Florence: Piazzale Michelangelo, where an elevated terrace offers visitors an incomparable and breathtaking view of the entire city from above. During good weather, Piazzale Michelangelo provides visitors with a serene space surrounded by the amazing landscape, better if accompanied by a fresh gelato from a local kiosk. During night, visitors will be dazzled by the warm lights of the capital of the Renaissance. Spend a second with the silent Romanesque beauty of the Basilica of San Miniato al Monte: the one that wishes good morning and good night to Florence!
