Had a fabulous stay at the Al Duomo Apartment's Signoria Suite in July 2014. This apartment had lots of character as it is located in an ancient medieval tower. The apartment used both modern and antique furniture pieces throughout which adds to its character. The suite was absolutely spotless. Contained 2 full bedrooms (both with queen size beds, and 1... Positives: Good location, nice to have breakfast on a sunny terrace. Rooms quiete spacious for Florence. Negatives: the hotel blocked money on my card 10 days before arrival, which is against conditions of the offer. And never released it, despite many requests, even after the amount was fully paid during check out. Had to release money with the help of... More

We were not staying in the Duomo hotel but decided it would be safer to park here and walk into the historic centre. Mistake. We thought the €15 for 5 hours was pricey but thinking the car would be safe and undercover we left the car in the hands if the gentlemen working there. They insisted we left the key... More

My wife and I spent three nights in the "Al Duomo" apartment in June. Guido and Mariagioconda give you a warm welcome, and Mariagioconda shows you all the points of interest on a map which she gives you. The apartment has been very well refurbished, and clever use made of the rooms, which must be quite old. The terrace overlooks... More

We were two people staying at Al Duomo for two nights, and we enjoyed our stay a lot. It's location is perfect for exploring Florence – you can walk everywhere. Even though it's very centrally located we weren't disturbed by the noise on the streets. However, the walls in the B&B are quite thin, and as I am a light... More

We spent two nights at this bed & breakfast and could not have been in a better location! We were within two minutes walk of the Duomo Cathedral of Santa Maria and we were on the main street with all the shopping and a short stroll down the street was the Ponte Vecchio Bridge (with nice views of the river... Was there for 3 days. Maria welcomed me and was phenomenal and spoke great English. Guido on the other hand did not, but was awesome as well, making fresh coffee and pastries every morning with a welcome! The only issue I did have was I saw pictures of beautiful rooms with big bed. I got the "closet" sized room with... More

We stayed in the 1 BR apartment for 4 nights and loved it. Location, location, location! And the apartment itself was wonderful too. We would stay again here in a heartbeat. Maria and Guido were excellent hosts and Maria's English was excellent. Upon arriving in Rome, we got concise directions from Maria, who monitored our progress hourly. She arranged to... More

Had the luxury to enjoy a weekend stay at Al Duomo B&B. The location is very central and allows easy walkable access to the whole city. Maria and Guido welcomed us upon our arrival and were quick to make us feel at home familar with different sites and restaurants around Florence. The room was very comfortable and clean and had...
