My husband and myself spent three wonderful days in Florence and made an excellent choice of staying here. We were dropped off at the wrong hotel by the taxi driver and didn't realise until he had left. The reception called our hotel, which was only a few minutes away, and gave us directions. We had not walked far when a... More

The property is located just meters from the Piazza della Signoria, and within a short walk of the main train station. Quiet side street, easy walk up. Very near all the well-known attractions in Florence. We arrived in the evening, so our host Luciano had coordinated with us to access our room after hours. Both Luciano and his sister Luciana... Lovely B&B in a great location steps from Piazza della Signoria. We were welcomed by the friendly host who gave us a map and some cold water while we waited for our room to be ready. The room was clean and modern, bathroom very nice. I was disappointed that WiFi did not work at all in our room (Ghirlandaio) and... More

We were treated like family from the minute we arrived. Luciana directed us to a great parking garage (Garage Inferno) and left the room keys on the front desk since we arrived from Rome late in the evening. She made a beautiful breakfast every morning and gave us advice on day trips to Cinque Terre, Pisa, and Lucca. I will... More

Stayed here for two night with my fiancé, I would go back and stay longer in a heartbeat! Luciano and Luciana are wonderful- specifically Luciano went out of his way without hesitation to help my family(who drove us to Florence) park the car (which is much more difficult than it seems if your not used to driving in italy-the tiny... Slap bang in the middle of Florence, the location couldn't be better. We stayed for 3 nights and had no issues with noise as other reviews have mentioned. Our host was excellent and willing to answer any questions we had. Breakfast was good and the breakfast area light and inviting. The room was modern and the bathroom well equipped and... More

As other reviews have noted, rooms are very modern, spacious and clean, hosts are extremely friendly and amazingly helpful, and breakfast is delicious. In addition, the mini-bar is well stocked and extremely reasonably priced--cheaper than the nearby shops. I did find the bed a bit hard, but my husband prefers hard beds, so he was happy. It was an actual... More

Location couldn't be better. Staff were very friendly and took their time to talk to you and help out. Bedroom was a good size but the Beds were very hard and uncomfortable. Bathroom was small but had everything you needed. Down side was two nights out of three there was very loud music in the early hours on the morning.... More

I approached the hotel from the train station and was a little wary of the location down a narrow side street - little did I realise that the Palazzo Vecchio and Loggia di Lanza were at the other end! The staff are every friendly and helpful and the rooms themselves are almost chic! I was very impressed considering the price.... More

My wife and I stayed one night in April,2014 and we enjoyed ourselves. The proprietress was very friendly and helpful. The room was large, clean and comfortable. There was early morning music, but it only disturbed us briefly. The location and the valu were superb. We would recommend La Signoria to anyone who wants to stay in a comfortable and... More
