This B&B was so perfect for our stay in Florence! The location is so central to all the main sites - literally right next to the Piazza della Signoria. Luciano is the most gracious host - SO friendly and willing to answer questions about Florence. He couldn't have been more hospitable and it really felt like a truly Italian experience.... More

Very clean and modern room, very friendly and kind owners ( Luciano and Luciana). It was amazing that the room was very quiet even though it was right next to the street. I would love to stay at this precious hotel again when I return to Florence!

The communication from Luciano prior arrival was great. The hotel is in the most amazing location with everything you need or would like to see within walking distance. I stayed in hotel for 3 nights as a solo traveller and felt welcomed and at ease the entire trip. Amazing value for money!

Owners and staff so kind and helpful. I like staying in Piazza Signoria because of the central location. In the shadow of Palazzo Vecchio, the original city hall, and home of the Medici family, this well run, welcoming, secure, modern B&B in an over 700 year old building is a real pleasure. Just a few steps down a side street... More

We out stayed here for one night but found it fantastic. The communication from Luciano and Luciana in the run up to our arrival was great! They are only at reception until 13:00 I think so after this time you need to use a PIN code to get in. We arrived at 15:00 and I had been sent an email... More

We stayed two nights at La Signoria di Firenze B&B. It is conveniently located near Piazza La Signoria, and was easy for us to go back for short breaks in the afternoon. Excellent breakfast was provided with pastries, rolls, juice, and coffee. We had the quad room and it was spacious and comfortable for the 4 of us. Luciano and... More

This is a great hotel run by a team of Luciano and Luciana. They are excellent pre stay communicators and we received ample details on how to get there, how to check in and the details of the hotel before the stay. We did not expect them to be there to meet us as we were not arriving in the... More

Yes, this B&B is about location. It located steps away from La Piazza de la Signoria. Luciano and Luciana (siblings) alternate in preparing breakfast each morning. We stayed in the Cellini room with our window facing Via Calimaruzza, just yards away from the historic center of Florence. The room was modern , the breakfast plentiful and everything was clean and... More

La Signoria di Firenze B&B is located in the heart of Florence, so it was super easy to visit major attractions by foot, and we could still come back to the room for siesta if needed. It was about 10 minute walk from Santa Maria Novella Station, and we were able to find the hotel easily. The B&B offers a... More

Staying in Uffizi

Neighborhood Profile
Uffizi
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
