We were just hurriedly looking for a place to stay in Florence before we left Rome and came across the pictures of this B and B which looked modern and clean and very well priced. We took a chance and booked it there and then. We weren't going for anything fancy, just simple. We arrived and were shocked just how... More

I had a lovely one night stay here at the B&B just steps from the Piazza della Signoria, and despite worries about noise being so near to tourist sites, I--a light sleeper--slept like a baby. Owners Luciano and Luciana were very friendly and accommodating to my needs, and plied me with tasty coffee drinks. The room and bathroom were very... More

I am really beginning to wonder about the reviews I read on Tripadvisors. Mediocrity is becoming very, very acceptable and apparently elevated to the stature of very good! There is a open market at the end of the street and every morning push carts come clanking down the street about 6am. It isn't the B&B's fault, but for us it was... More

Placed in an excellent location in Florence which is within walking distance to most sites. Staff are very accomodative and very helpful. Rooms are clean and spacious. It is a family run hotel with good breakfast and the entire stay was very pleasant.

We've stayed 3 nights at this B&B and it was a nice surprise: we're concerned that it will be noisy and, although you can listen some sounds really near, the windows shut well the outside world, so you can sleep. The room was comfortable and very smart, with everything you may need. Good shower, good sized bathroom, place to hang... More

This is a wonderful little B&B in the heart of Firenze with lovely staff and great rooms. The breakfast was nothing extravagant, but very tasty. We stayed three nights in august and it was really one of the best stays during our trip.

We stayed here in August 2015 during our trip to Italy. We were family of four so we got room with 2 single beds and one double bed called Masaccio. The room and bathrooms were nice and clean, bed and linens were comfortable and room AC was perfect. We used night check in facility, Luciana was great with communication and... More

We stayed here in August for three nights. The staff was super friendly, always smiling and was very helpful. The room was comfortable and clean with all that we needed including a surprisingly good minibar. Although located in the heart of the city, the B&B is on a small quiet street and we had no problem sleeping late. Overall a... More

We loved the location and style of this B+B. The location was perfect with quick access to everything in downtown Florence. The service was above and beyond the call of duty. You do have to climb stairs to get to your room, so that should be considered if you have physical restrictions or lots of luggage.

My mum and I stayed here for one night in florence. We were immediately welcomed by the lovely host who carried our bags up the stairs for us. The room was just what we needed, en suite, tv, shutters, cheap mini bar! The hotel was in a great location- slightly tucked away off the main road (opposite the new market).... More

Staying in Uffizi

Neighborhood Profile
Uffizi
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
