Charming B&B with individually and tastefully designed rooms - spotlessly clean. Mr My Resort is a short taxi ride from the station and just a few minutes’ walk into the centre. Our party of six had the place all to ourselves - bliss! A very warm welcome from Lorenzo and helpful advice on where to go, what to see and... More

This B&B was very clean and nicely decorated. I loved the style of decor and had a wonderful stay there. Lorenzo was very nice and helped us find good restaurants around the area as well as tips for attractions/shopping. He also came in early to accomodate for our early check out. There's a nice courtyard with a fireplace that's quiet... More

Location wise the accommodation is fine, situated on a residential street off the main thoroughfare of entertainment leading to the square. We booked independently with the B&B, noting the extent of attributes advertised, clever marketing. Upon checking in we were very impressed with the decor and the complimentary wine as advertised. However, there were quite a few drawbacks to the... More

We very much enjoyed our stay at MR My Resort - a small establishment with great rooms and quiet away from the hubbub of the main attraction areas of Florence. All attractions were within a very reasonable walking distance from the hotel. The rooms were well appointed. There was a lovely outdoor sitting area away from the street noise.

We stayed here with for 2 nights from the 21st September with our Family (2 couples) in rooms on the ground floor, We both had a door from our rooms which led to a gorgeous terrace and atrium where we have coffees in the morning before heading into the centre of Florence (a 10 minute walk) and in the evening... Four of us stayed here for 2 nights from the 21st September in rooms on the ground floor, where there is a beautiful terrace and atrium where we would meet up in the morning before heading into the centre of Florence (a 10 minute walk) and in the evening before heading out for a meal. We all have absolutely nothing... More

We stayed at a B&B while in Florence on our honeymoon. It was a lovely little spot a block or two away from the heart of Florence. The rooms were a great size. Lots of space for large travel bags and good room in the washroom to not trip over one another. We had complimentary wine in the room which... More

It's small and quirky, beautifully decorated and every detail has been considered. Things we loved: - the welcome bottle of chianti - coffee machine in the room (and as much coffee, milk etc as we needed) - secluded, fragrant garden paradise (beautifully lit in the evening) - lovely comfortable bed - fabulous caffe and handy supermarket only a couple of... I would say 95% of hotels you see their cover picture but reality is nothing like it. In the case of Mr My Resort, it was exactly as depicted and MORE. We stayed in the featured room (Gli Specchi) and it was worth it. I almost thought to give this review 4 stars though because the walls really are paper... More

Staying in San Lorenzo

Neighborhood Profile
San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo’s lively merchants shout out from behind stalls with an array of products in one of the most traditional neighborhoods in Florence. Different ethnic groups join together in the large outdoor market of San Lorenzo and in the Central Market, a vast multi-floored building. Visitors are bound to fall in love with this area and in particular, with its variety of food, especially those focusing on Florentine dishes as well as international selections. Nobody leaves San Lorenzo without a shopping bag in hand or with an empty stomach.
