A group of 8 of us decided to stay at this hotel for one night while we were passing through Florence. Shortly after getting situated into our room, someone found a BEDBUG in their bed. This is an AUTOMATIC deal breaker. On top of the bedbug being there, the rooms were very dated. The entire hotel was dated. For the... More

this is a great little B&B, its location is great within a five minutes walk from the Basilica Santa Maria, so its close to everything. the room we had was a good size and slept the three of us very comfortably, the bathroom left a bit to be desired but in a building this old and for the price we... When we arrived at 13 the room wasn't ready so we had to grab a bite eventhough we wanted to rest after a long bus journey from Siena. The bedroom walls are filled with stains and the bathroom smelled like cigarretes for a whole day. The TV is placed on top of the bed so you need to lay upside... More

We only stayed overnight, so we cannot say much except that the unit we had was spacious for our family of 4, effectively 2 bedrooms and a bathroom/toilet. We even had a refrigerator, which is uncommon for the places we have stayed in Europe so far. The breakfast is basic but one cannot expect too much if it is included... More

Me and my girlfriend have been backpacking around Italy and this place was perfect. At €35 a night for a twin private it was perfect. Yes the rooms are basic but very clean and if your looking for a nice friendly and safe place to stay that's in a brilliant location this is for you. The room is within a... More

We stayed here and the location was fantastic. within walking distance of all of downtown florence. we had 4 people in a room and they had given away their large room so we had to stay in a 3 person room and they squeezed a fourth bed in. it was TINY. the AC was broken and it was really hot... It's two blocks from Accademia only! Everything is in walking distance: Uffizzi, Duomo, Santa Croce, Ponte Vecchio, Palazzo Pitti. Good value for money, but don't expect any luxury. Rooms are old and breakfast nothing special. The street S. Reparata is little bit noisy before dawn (suppliers, garbage service etc.), so it's better to ask for a room on the other... More

I stayed with my family there, hotel is only a short walk from Central Train Terminal, We travelled from Venice by train to Florence, It was easy to locate the hotel. It is an old Terrance, converted in to boarding house with a small common kitchen, quite clean, quite dark though, not much sun light. I really don't take this... More

Excellent location. A short walk from eateries and the Firenze SMN station. Also walkable to everything you have to see in Florence (which is actually quite compact). The place is quite torn, and the building has no elevator. Breakfast is very simple (a croissant, toasts and coffee). Room was OK in terms of size and cleaniness, but the floor of... More

You're not going to find many better placed hotels in Florence for all of the usual tourist sight seeing; you're certainly not going to find such a location for the price you'll pay at Soggiorno Santa Reparata. So on the face of it, few places can offer a better place to locate yourself to explore the apparently never ending beauty... More

Staying in San Lorenzo

Neighborhood Profile
San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo’s lively merchants shout out from behind stalls with an array of products in one of the most traditional neighborhoods in Florence. Different ethnic groups join together in the large outdoor market of San Lorenzo and in the Central Market, a vast multi-floored building. Visitors are bound to fall in love with this area and in particular, with its variety of food, especially those focusing on Florentine dishes as well as international selections. Nobody leaves San Lorenzo without a shopping bag in hand or with an empty stomach.
