This review should have come a year ago. We spent four nights at this B&B in October 2014. Located on the fourth floor of an old palace, (third floor for Italians), this B&B is a block and a half from the Pitti Palace and four blocks from the Ponte Vecchio. It has two rooms and a small dining room. The... More

We stayed her 3 nights, in Sep 2015, and absolutely loved our stay. This b & b currently has 2 rooms- one called the orange room, and the other, the green. It is in a historical building, and initially we couldn't believe we were staying in a real Tuscan/Florentine building, as the doors, and entryway are just amazing. We stayed in... More

We booked this due to good feedback on tripadvisor, and we were not disappointed, it is located in a residential area so you get that feeling of not being a tourist even though you are. We tried to book the orange room but it was booked(even though we booked in March) so we had the smaller green room so if... More

We stayed for 4 nights on our first visit to Florence. Very close to all major tourist attractions but also fairly quiet. We stayed in the orange room which I suggest is a better choice if you are staying more than one night. Very comfortable bed and good bathroom . Shutters ensure darkness and relative quiet at night time. A... More

We stayed in Bonsignori in mid-August. It is a 2-room hotel, nicely decorated. staff is really friendly, breakfast is great. Clean and tidy rooms. It is in the center and close to main attractions. Price is reasonable. We strongly recommend.

Excellent B & B in a great location ... apart from the 50 odd stairs to lug your cases up !! The stairs weren't a problem after that though and I have a dodgy hip ! Within easy walking distance of all the main attractions without being too busy. Was a couple of hundred yards away from the Piazza San... More

<Location> About a 15-20 min walk from Santa Maria Novella station, the B&B is just south of the Arno River. It is not in the very center of Florence, but just a 5 min walk from the beautiful Ponte Vecchio which is not really bad. And the huge Palazzio Pitti is just a 2 min walk from the B&B. The... More

Spent 3 nights here after a recent cruise. Room was bigger then expected, breaky has everything and Elizabetta was extremely helpful. Close to the Pitti Palace and the Ponte Vecchio.Walking distance to a range of restaurants, all the main attractions with the feel of being away from the tourist centre. A bit noisy but if you closed your windows it... More

This was just what we needed, it was perfect! To be honest, the pictures on the website don't do it justice. It was a great spot, in a cracking location - on the much quieter side of the city, but very close to vibrant Santo Spirito. Still only 15 minute walk to most places, astounding how quickly you can make... More

Staying in Pitti

Neighborhood Profile
Pitti
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
