This place is perfect for a long weekend in Florence. It's a stone's throw from the Ponte Vecchio, Palazzo Pitti and the Boboli Gardens, yet it remains an oasis of quietness in the hustle and bustle of Florence. The apartments are very tastefully decorated and well equipped and combine the convenience of a hotel room with the homeliness and privacy... More

Nice studio apartments on the edge of the city centre about 10 mins from Ponte Vecchio. Comes with Kitchenette so you can do your own cooking etc. Apartments are a reasonable size and offer great value for money. There was a bad smell but it dissipated while I was there, and honestly a lot of places in Florence smelt similar.... More

We would highly recommend the Florent. Its location was excellent, about 1 minute from the Pitti Palace and 5 minutes to the Ponte Vecchio and an excellent supermarket where locals shopped and the prices were very good. We had a small apartment on the first floor that faced the street. We stayed nearly two weeks and did NOT experience street... More

A nice little apartment out of the centre but still only a 10-15 minute away from Ponte Vecchio. Unfortunately we had some vet drunk neighbours who partied until 4 each morning which greatly detracted from the experience, with their door only 1 metre from ours. The apartments are not serviced (at all) unless you stay longer than 6 days and... More

I wanted to spend a weekend in Florence and Florent was the best choice I could make. Location is splendid, 1 min away from Palazzo Pitti, less than 5 from Ponte Vecchio and Boboli Gardens, right within the wonderful neighbourhood of Oltrarno. My apartment was perfectly sized for a couple, extremely clean. Paolo is a very kind host, always willing... More

We stayed here in March for 3 nights. When we arrived the owner was very friendly and showed us some local restaurants and helped out with directions. We even got a nice little welcome shopping bag filled with leaflets and maps which was helpful. The apartment was clean with good facilities if you were wanting to eat in (not that... More

This little gem is located near the main attractions very close to pitti palace and pointe Vecchio. We made a mistake on booking through Expedia and tried to change it with them but were told we couldn't. Rang Paolo directly and he instantly changed it with no hassle or fuss. Very welcoming staff, who even carried my bags up the... More

It is a very convenient location - walking distance to practically all attractions in Florence. Also close to the only supermarket in old city. The street is very quiet street. The management was very friendly and helpful.

We loved staying here--convenient walking distance to just about everything, but a quiet and peaceful respite from the tourist heart of Florence on the other side of the river. Charming host Paolo met us as our cab pulled up to the door and carried our luggage up to our apartment on the second floor. He walked us out the front... More

We stayed at Florent with my wife for a weekend during a longer tour of Italy. We booked through their website and they made a good offer purely for us. Very good choice, excellent location (walking distance to basically everything, my wife doesn't like walking but she never complained!). The service is attentive, Italy's glamour and Old World class all... More

Staying in Pitti

Neighborhood Profile
Pitti
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
