I stayed here in 2012 and had a fantastic time. Now, 3 years later, I had the opportunity to visit Tuscany once again. Staying at the Hostel I met some great people and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. It's out in the Chianti countryside situated in a lovely little village so it's away from all the crowds of... More

The rooms and bathrooms were clean and quiet to sleep and there was a nice cheap breakfast. The location does take about an hour from Florence and if you want to visit Florence at night the buses don't work for that and you would have to get a cab but I must say that after spending the whole day walking... I loved this place from the moment I got off the bus from Florence. I felt right at home in the hostel, and the staff are lovely. It's located in a sleepy town in the Tuscan countryside, within walking distance of free wine tasting, a medieval town, supermarkets, restaurants and bars.

Came here with a friend. I changed my reservation more than once and staff was ok about it. I did not get charged for changing my reservation. Staff was great and friendly! They even had breakfast ready for my friend and me one morning, since we had to wake up very early to begin our trip to Rome! Very peaceful... More

A cheap hostel in a sleepy, small town. It's quite old and it shows in the rooms, the beds and the common areas. A decent, functional place for a one night stop while touring around Italy. Great staff - very friendly but the hostel lacks atmosphere.

Lovely hostel! We arrived late having got lost but the staff were understanding, helpful and SO friendly! I instantly felt at home and having come from the hustle and bustle of Florence it was was the perfect contrast; the village is small and peaceful and surrounded by Tuscany's finest countryside. If you want a little respite on your travels I'd... More

We paid some 17 Euros per head per night. Bathrooms were shared still clean. Rooms were clean and in-spite of bunk-beds, it was not too congested. Hostel staff were very friendly and supportive. They have bikes to rent as well to explore the small town full of hills, wine yards and farms. Nearby are few wine tasting places and also... More

I went there with 4 friends of mine, autumn time. There were not many guests that time (if i remember well only 3 ppl in other room), so we had all dorm as private paying for only 5 beds. Bathrooms were shared but again - we were the only ones on the floor so we had it only for us.... More

The hostel it's self is lovely, about 45 to 1hr bus ride away from Florence itself (important to know as I didn't realise this until I was there), so you can still do day trips into Florence, Bologna, Siena, Pis and the beautiful Cinque Terre (highly recommended, just don't take boat trip amid seas are rough and try stay a... The place was nice, staff was friendly and helpful. But you should know in advance the hostel is FAR from the city, about an hour (even if they say its 20 minutes BELIEVE ME its not!). To get to the hostel from the station you need to get a bus that will take about 40 minutes to get there and... More
