We stayed here April 2014; sorry for the delay, I thought I'd posted this. This would be a 5 star review due to prime location (we had a duomo view from our room!--make sure you request this via email as our room might be the only one?) and staff (Stefano is so kind and helpful) except that there is no... I stayed at this B&B in June 2014. Walking distance from Santa Maria Novella train station. The location was awesome – just behind Orsanmichele Church! The check in was smooth with Stefan, the host, explaining everything to me. He offered to drop off my laundry for washing and drying for 8E. The room was spacious and very nice. The bathroom... My wife and I stayed here just after Easter. The location is fantastic. It is in the pedestrian center of the city. We got off the train from Rome and walked (maybe 3/4 mile) to the hotel. It was very easy to find. That whole section of Florence is great for walking, finding great places to eat, and finding world-class... More

Everyone working at this small B&B were very friendly and very helpful. The location is absolutely perfect for Florence. You're right in the middle of everything with a beautiful view of the Duomo from your room but there's never any noise issues at night since it's tucked away. The only downside was the very uncomfortable foam pillows which were hard... More

Situated a few metres from the Via Del Calzaiuoli (major shopping street) and only 200mters from both the Duomo to the north and Ponte Vecchio to the south. Friendly clean and well appointed hotel. A limited continental breakfast is available by arrangement with The Verrazano Café at street level beneath the hotel. Car parking is available only by arrangement with... More

I would definitely use this as a place to stay next time in Florence. Stefano couod not have been more helpful and Patricia also. The rooms are charmingly furnished in a traditional manner with painted cupboards but clean, modern, nicely appointed bathrooms with shower and bidet. The beds are rather hard and the pillows also but I think that is... More

We had a lovely stay with Stefan and crew. Great big beds which I find could do with being softer as I have a slight back problem. Lovely and clean, and airy. We had the mini suite. View out of one window the Duomo and the bell tower out of the other absolutely charming. Breakfast can be obtainied in the... More

My husband and I spent five nights at this B&B. It is in a wonderful location! We were able to walk to every place that we wanted to visit in Florence and to catch a couple of tours easily from the train station. We had easy access to numerous restaurants, shops, grocery stores, and tourist attractions. The B&B doesn't serve... More

The location is between the Piazza della Signoria and the Duomo. The rooms are very clean and nicely appointed. There is a shared kitchen with a refrigerator, stove top and a filtered water dispenser. If possible, reserve the JUNIOR SUITE. It is amazing --through one window you see the Duomo and the other , the Tower of the palazzo Vecchio.... More

Great location between the major sights and great gelatorias "perche no" right in front of hotel and "bar perseo" on the corner of piazza signoria on the way back to this hotel. We walked from the train station easily enough maybe 15 minutes but not a bad walk at all. Clean and generally quiet. Any outside noise from the street... More
