This place was too hold. Water was going on the foor after each shower. The area around is very poor. Not clean and a little bit far from attractions and restaurants. The price is very cheap but expect it to be one of the worst places to stay.

A sign of a good hotel is how they deal with problems. Sadly, this one failed that test. I made a booking for a 40-euro room, paid my 5-euro deposit, but cancelled due to unforeseen personal circumstances. While I was happy to pay the cancellation fee of one night's accommodation, the clerk insisted that I owed 40 more euros (the... More

It was a lovely hostel walking distance from everything you may want to explore in Florence. The staff made us feel completely at home and provided everything we needed and answered any questions or queries, even over the phone if they had popped out for 5 minutes! Good Kitchen and bathroom facilities, free wifi but no computers. A perfect place... More

We had booked several hotels through Venere and were overall very pleased with the rooms, prices and service. We were , however, very displeased with the reservation in Florence, at the "Casa Dolce Casa.". This was advertised as a "bed and breakfast' and was indeed a hostel . We had emailed the owners twice explaining we were coming from a... More

We were happy to stay in this hotel because we were in a city that was largely built 400 and 500 years ago. This hotel has the feel of older Florence. It is on a typical very narrow street. There is a stair to get up to the first floor where the hotel is located. We had a triple room... More

This was a great find as the location was pretty convenient, it was cheap, it was clean, and the owners were really friendly. It almost has a hostel feel to it in that there was a big communal kitchen to use, a free computer with internet, and mostly young-ish people, but it was small and quiet. Sort of like a... More

Room is clean and tidy, the owner of B&B is very nice, and the price is very attractive. However, it is quite far away from station (walk 15 min with luggage). There are mosquitos inside room even all window were closed. We all got mosquito bite at night. Connection of WIFI is not so good. There is no elevator in... More

My friend and I stayed here for two nights during our time in Florence. Great, cosy little place especially for young travelers (my friend and I are both in our early 20's). There are no frills but the rooms are clean, bright, comfortable, and very affordable. The bathrooms are very clean as well. Vito and Carlo were inviting and made... More
