I liked this little hotel. It was easy walking distance to the center and had an elevator, which is so much nicer than lugging bags up stairs. There was a pretty, little breakfast area that also offered beverages in off hours. Our room was simple but spacious and included a heated towel rack. Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating.... More

I was only here one night before travelling to Rome and I booked thinking it would be an easy walk from the train station. It probably is, but not when you're dragging two large suitcases down cobbled roadways! That is my error though, and 25 mins later I finally got myself there. This is a budget hotel and the room... The hotel is quite close to the center, the prices are reasonable. Breakfast was very good. Our room was very big because situated on the last floor. The best thing about this hotel is the owner that is one of the nicest people I've met in a long time, very helpful, always with a smile and always there when we... More

This hotel does NOT have A/C! There were mosquitos in our room. The only good thing is the location. Location is very good. Close to Santa maria Novella Train station. The man who works at the hotel is rude and have no diplomacy at all.

Dear Mr. Leonardo, I remember You and Your wife very well. We are very surprised to receive a review showing our staff as "rude" while our Hotel's staff is very well known for the HELPFUL and KINDNESS Therefore, I have to rember You and to all of T.A. We stayed for 4 nights and our room was nice. It was clean and large enough. I'm glad we moved to their top floor, as the initial room was too close to the entrance, and we thought it would be noisy in the morning. The hotel is close to the train station and it is within walking distance of the... More

The hotel is located just outside the historical district and the management staff is friendly and eagle to help. Th supposed 3 stars assigned to this hotel are an exaggeration. The room was clean but the bed covers had evident stains. The used towel left on the floor appeared on the hanger after room cleaning. The street is noisy and... More

Dear Mr Kenny It's so funny to reply in English language to whom, as You and Your wife, live since a long time in italy and speak a good and fluent Italian language. We know very well that in our life, as well as in our job, every day we have to "IMPROVE" and we must be humble; therefore, we... More

I experienced and excellent stay at the Hotel Leopolda. Knowing Florence well, I was pleased to be staying in an area away from the throng of the tourist crowds and yet still quite close to Santa Maria di Novello train station and all the tourist spots one could wish for. The room was spacious and clean; the bed was very... More

Leopalda reviews This was one of the worst places I have stayed in. Firstly it is not a hotel, it is a bed and breakfast with very rude owners. The husband was fine, but wife was extremely unpleasant and rude. Secondly, they claim on the website , it is a 15 min walk from train station. So not true. It... More
