I stayed in an 8 person mixed dorm. It was spacious with a private toilet and shower - separated, which is nice. Each bed had its own lamp and outlet. There was plenty of shelving and closet space. Unfortunately there was zero internet connection in the room. You also have to go to the front desk in order to get... More

It was near the train station which is convenient. However after staying at the Generator in London my expectations are higher for what a hostel is suppose to have. At the price we payed for a private 2 bedroom we could have stayed in a hotel and have a better experience. They had music playing all night and I couldn't... More

My husband and I stayed. Very busy place, young crowd. Room was adequate and clean. No outlets unless you unplug the TV...so bring an extention. The towels are rough. Breakfast is terrible and the coffee, from the machine, is the worst. Go elsewhere unless you get it included in your rate. Several people working the front desk, but you will... More

The hostel is clean, cheap and staff were friendly enough. Breakfast was horrendous, but beggars can't be choosers. The rooms were good, didn't sleep in a dorm. The showers were great. 24hr reception is awesome. Only downside I can think is the location.. It's a little far out from the sights of florence but i got used to the walk... More

This hostel had a great vibe, and was overcrowded when we went. We stood in line for about 45 minutes just to check-in. They are definitely understaffed. The lobby was overcrowded with backpackers too, sitting wherever they got space! They have a computer room, which because its free, is overcrowded all the time too. The wifi speed is so poor,... I do see why this place has great views. After staying in many hostels I can honestly say it is a hotel, not hostel. Atmosphere? Its great if you are travelling with Busabout, Contiki or Topdeck, you get masses of them there, also families and their young children. I booked an all female dorm and then found men staying in... Best hostel I've ever been to. The pool was great. Very young vibe. Wouldn't suggest to those over 40. There was a bar area that also played music videos. Internet was spotty but good enough. Great for solo travelers as well.

Worried about bedbugs all night. I was promised that this hotel was a hotel and NOT a hostel. NOT SO SURE. The location was not bad, but the clientele left a little to be desired. I am not a teen or young person wanting to backpack across Europe. As a mother and an older one at that, I am used... More

Great location, near to the train station which is great for inter-railers. Room was clean and quiet, only problem was the lighting was a bit rubbish in the room which made it hard to see when trying to do hair and make-up. The hostel is central to Florence which was great so all within walking distance. The only thing that... More
