I really enjoyed the location of this room,it is the nearest to duomo and shopping area,u even can easily come back to take a rest or drop something and continue your visits The A/C needs to be stronger and it is noisy for people who are not used to city life Nearby Armani shop is renovating and workers start their... We really enjoyed staying in this unusual B & B. From the time you open the heavy wooden front door and ride the double shuttered lift to the fourth floor apartment, you really know you're in old Florence. It is just around the corner from the Duomo so you can't get lost looking for your hotel. It took about 15... More

Entirely happy after a four night stay. Can't get closer to the centre of the tourist area, just a short walk from the Duomo. It was very clean, there was a voucher for croissant and coffee from a nearby cafe for breakfast, they had water, tea, coffee and pastries as well as fruit and yogurts for free in the kitchen.... You can't ask for a better location for your money. The rooms are nice, clean and the innkeeper is very sweet and provides a refrigerator in a common area with water, juices, yogurts, etc. You will have some difficulty if you don't speak Italian but nothing insurmountable. Our only complaint was that there was almost zero water pressure during our... More

This small hotel is located about 70 meters from the Duomo Square, which is where you want to be. It is located in a 4th floor and has 4 rooms. Noting really fancy but a ver good place for location and price. From here, everything worth seeing in Florence is within walking distance.

We are BnB hosts as well and Magnifico Messere was first rate with location, kitchen snacks , clean and roomy, and most pleasant and gracious hosts. We loved to come home there and to a common kitchen room to relax after our adventures in Florence. Warmly Rob and Joanna Short, P.S. Lorenzo we are here near San Francisco when you... More

This B&B is located in the center of Florence. Just a few steps from the Duomo. Pros: - Great location - clean rooms - friendly staff - free snacks in the kitchen - good wifi - hard rock cafe around the corner:) Cons: - a bit hard to find - a small plate on the facade of the building. -... More

That cosy B&B is in the middle of Florence center near to the Dome. It is very clean and you are getting coupons for your breakfast at the bakery around the corner, 2 minutes away. All the attractions are just a step away and there is a taxi stop round the corner. Of course there are cheaper cities to visit... More

Our room was very spacious, a huge plus and quite clean. The bathroom was small but good enough. Nothing can be the location! Literally a 1 minute walk to duomo, the street was lively and full of action. Great if you love being in the middle of it all. Only negative is the owner doesn't really speak english so you... More

Excellent location, with a view of the Duomo from the room. Everything was very clean and worked perfectly. Great wifi! There is a common room with complimentary coffee, tea, water, juice, cookies, etc. The breakfast is provided with a voucher for a pasticcerie very close to the B&B which has great cappuccino and croissant. I had a great time and... More

Staying in Duomo

Neighborhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
