This is an old house converted as hotel accommodation. No maintenance has been carried out. Broken shower door. The lift is so tiny to the extend, it can carry only one person due to internally open doors.

Great staff that treats you like a friend, very nice people. Excellent value, even if the rooms are pretty simple. Not quite in the historical center, but a mere 15 minute walk. Also very close to a super market.

At a budget price, Casa Lea is an easy 15 minute walk to the centre of Firenze. The place is loaded with personality, as you'll see when you walk into a lobby/parlour loaded with vintage bric-a-brac, and take the tiny, shuffling lift up to your small but quaintly-decorated room. The staff are friendly and more than happy to direct you... More

Good value and quiet location in this city, a little out of the way but easy access even if a bit of a walk is needed..........................................................................................

We stayed for at Casa Lea two nights in August, coming upon the hotel by chance. Only 100 euros a night for a family of four seemed very reasonable, but most of all the place oozed charm and character, in an offbeat way, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Not a hotel for people looking for luxury but if... More

Quirky interior and spacious rooms. Our room had a balcony overlooking a quiet street and a good sized bathroom. Staff were friendly and location was an easy 5-10 min walk to the center. No Aircon but a fan was provided, no breakfast available

The hotel entrance is on the first floor of an apartment block not far from central Florence. When arrived we rang the doorbell many times before anyone answered and we were told he had been busy, then later said he had been in the toilet. This was the son of a strange father and son combo, who subsequently proved to... More

My friend and I stayed here for three nights this July. While we were initially worried after reading some of the angrier reviews, the place exceeded our expectations. To the person who said its like staying in the haunted mansion, you are right. But only for all the right reasons. This hotel is full of fantastic antiques! Our wardrobe was... More

This hotel is centrally located, walk 20 minutes straight up the road to The Duomo. The manager is very friendly and helpful, the room was large, airy but well heated (we stayed in April). Bathroom is clean modern and well appointed. Security is great and there is a lovely family run restaurant across the road and about 100 metres away.... More
