We stayed here for five nights, flying in directly from Sydney, Australia via Guangzhou and Paris. After travelling for 40 hours and losing a bag on the way, we were very happy to be so warmly welcomed by Riccardo & Lavinia and we found the room to be pleasant and quite comfortable. The missing bag was no problem and turned... More

Would highly recommend this quant B & B in a fantastic location just a couple of blocks from the river. Enrico and his family are wonderful hosts and very helpful. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. Great breakfast options and a good value overall. Thank you for a great stay

Our stay at this facility was absolutely what we expected! The room was as pictured. We purposely sought after a B&B to get a better feel of the local "real" people verses a "cold" hotel. The room and bath were nice - the bed was comfortable - air-conditioning work all of the time and very well I might add. The... More

We spent four days here, and it was a terrific base to explore Florence, a comfortable retreat when we needed some time to relax, and Riccardo and his wife were exceptional resources to ensure we got the most from our trip. Not only do they make you feel at home in their bed & breakfast, but they go above and... More

Florence is a beautiful city with much to see and do. I cannot imagine better hosts and ambassadors than Riccardo and Lavinia. The B&B is in the heart of the old city, literally steps from Santa Croce, the Duomo and the galleries, etc. on a very quite street. Riccardo and Lavinia's advice about restaurants and other places to see was... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at Casa Dei Tintori for 3 nights and had an excellent time. Ricardo and Lavinia were extremely helpful, welcoming, and attentive. From help with directions, reserving tickets, to excellent recommendations on gelaterias, they were happy to share their knowledge of their city. The room was clean and comfortable in a beautifully restored old dye house... More

Riccardo was fantastic and the rooms were great. Very Central (a few minutes walk from the main attractions) but not too busy. We stayed in the red and green room (the green was our favourite as it had a reading area and tiny balcony) Make sure you eat the sandwiches from all'antico vinaio down the road and ask Riccardo about... When arriving in a strange place you want to feel like you have a home with someone looking out for you. You get this and more at Casa dei Tintori. The B&B is clean and well located. The furnishings are older and charming, the beds are comfortable, the bathroom was modern and clean, most important, our hosts were charming, young... More
