This is a beautiful country inn, with beautiful grounds/gardens, superb food, and Alessandro is the perfect host. Perfectly located to visit all the sites in Tuscany and Umbria, too. Totally recommend it!

My wife and I had a wonderful experience at this quaint B&B. First, we were very pleased with how easy it was to find - right off the major road, A-1. And yet, we felt secluded and surrounded by beautiful country vistas. It was very accessible to amazing medieval cities including the two we highly recommend visiting, Siena and Cortona.... More

Poggio sant Angelo. Of our 10 day trip to Italy, this was our most disappointing stay. The place was ultra difficult to find, and once there the "lobby" was eerily dark, unwelcoming and empty. I heard some noise in the kitchen and found a guy chopping garlic or herbs, or something that didn't interest us. He showed us to our... More

We are sorry of all the inconvenience and troubles during your staying. Although we try to do our best as it can be seen from other reviews, sometimes things cannot be fixed. Prior to your arrival there has been several days of bad weather conditions with thunderstorms and heavy rain and wind....and also the forecast were quite uneasy. This coused... More

Great hotel, rooms are very big and very clean. House is typical Tuscany style. Garden and pool area are great. Only thing not so good was quality of WiFi and not so good breakfast. Luigi (manager) was great host.

best place to get to know Tuscany. Really warm and helpful staff. Great views around. It is close to most cities in tuscany, and really close to beautiful cities, like Cortona, Lucigniano, Montalcino. Must have a car, though,

I discovered this B&B on TA. We (4) stayed here during our 18 day visit to Italy. I chose this B&B due to location, reviews, and we did have a car rental(necessary). Alexandra (owner/operator) and George(chef) were such wonderful hosts. The rooms were large, clean, and well equipped. (small room fridge, hairdryer, great shower, comfy bed). The rural area is... Although this B&B's location does not provide that classic Tuscan scenery people should not be deterred from here. The rooms are affordable and comfortable for families and the breakfast is ample. Luca and Luigi are what gives this place a soul, they are friendly, efficient and always willing to help and should be the reason you book your stay at... More

My wife and I stayed here briefly as part of our honeymoon and had booked our stay on the strength of the reviews here but were really disappointed with pretty much every aspect of this B&B. First of all, it is situated right next to a road, so any illusion of a peaceful Tuscan retreat is shattered as soon as... More

We are sorry that we were not able to meet your expectations and we will be sure to improve from your constructive notes !. Having said that we would like to highlight some elements. This building after renovation has been recorded as an " hystorical building" and has to be preserved as it is. There is a big part of... More

Luca looks after the accomdation/guest relations side of things while Luigi is the Chef. Both are at the top of their game making sure that everything is top shelf. Luigi's cooking deserves a special mention as it's fantastic, he is a perfectionist! The friendly and professional service that we received from these two and the rest of the staff at... More

This charming and lovely B&B has all the atmosphere, character, and amenities a vacationer could seek. The rooms, indoor and outdoor dining, views, menus and food are the best!. Luca enhanced our stay by giving us routes each day to see off the beaten path that were supreme. Although in Cortona, one is on the edge of Toscana and the... More
