Great hotel, great location, lovely rooms, beautiful town. This was the first hotel we stayed at in Italy where someone (Francesco) offered to help us with our bags. Service was truly exceptional. The elevator after riding our bikes up that hill into town was very welcome! We really enjoyed our stay in Cortono and would love to visit again and... More

The Hotel Italia was all we imagined it would be. Clean, neat, great beds, wonderful hosts and in the heart of Cortona's old city. They had a great breakfast and a wonderful eating area. We ate breakfasts high above the rooftops where you could see for miles and miles in three directions. The beds were extremely comfortable and the establishment... More

The hotel is very charming, the room is very nice and very large! The breakfast I'd great, and the area it's served in is quite lovely. I enjoyed the Tuscany decor, the staff is quite helpful, and the hotel is so close to everything. There is no place else I'd choose to stay in Cortona!

Spent two nights here and loved it. Cortona is a really lovely place and well worth spending time exploring. We had a room on the third floor with the most amazing views of the Tuscan countryside. The building Is very old and full of interesting features. The room was full of charm and period features - wooden beams, shutters, furniture... More

This is an excellent centrally located hotel with wonderful staff who did everything they could to make us feel welcome. Our room was on the third floor and was spotlessly clean. We had an amazing view over the countryside from our bedroom and over rooftops and bell towers from our bathroom. The bed was so comfortable and the room so... More

Centrally located in the heart of Cortona this lovely establishment is highly recommended. I stayed for 1 week while visiting my daughter in Cortona. The room was impeccably clean and the beds were very comfy. A lovely breakfast available on the fourth floor every morning accompanied by an incredible view. Exceptional staff, always greeted you whether coming or going. Wonderful... More

We stayed in Cortona for one night during our trip to Italy. Cortona was a very sweet little town to visit and we were so glad we made the stop there. The hotel staff were so friendly and helpful and went the extra mile as it was a special occasion for us. The room was lovely although not one with... More
