In Cortona, it's hard to not be centrally located. So San Luca was just a 5-10 minute stoll down a road with lots of shops & markets to a main piazza with several restaurants & a great wine shop called Molesini's. The hotel itself was very nice, our triple room was somewhat spacious given it had 2 extra single beds... More

I walked into our room thinking it was small and then I opened the shutters onto the terrace and saw the view.....suddenly I understood why Diane Lane had fallen in love with the area. Gorgeous. This is a super convenient and sweet hotel. The breakfast room is run by Tonino where we dined all day long. The hotel is right... More

Wonderful hotel in a great location in the historic old town with magnificent views of the valley and part of the old town. Free public parking in a lot below the level of the hotel, an escalator ride away from the hotel. Pleasant and helpful reception desk staff who gives you the wifi password without being asked. Internet connection in... More

Located in a very picturesque place, at the edge of the mountain and by the entrance to old town. Nearby public parking. Modern and attractive reception area. We had a very comfortable room with everything we needed and a beautiful view of the valley. The bathroom was large and well supplied. Excellent breakfast.

My husband and I stayed at Hotel San Lucca for three nights in September of 2014. We had room #90 which was large as are a couple of others. We also had a small balcony with a nice view. The breakfast was good and the management helpful. The hotel is perfectly located at the entrance to the old town center.... More

A great place to stay especially at a price of 85 euro. You cannot park in the town so you drive to the hotel, unload your luggage and drive back down the hill to the car park. Then take the escalator back up to the hotel. The people at the front desk speak good English and are extremely helpful with... More

Everything about this hotel was fantastic. All of the staff were so kind, helpful and friendly... from the housekeepers, to the breakfast staff (Christian), the front desk clerks (Massimo, all the names I'm forgetting - the girl during the day shift, the guys at night) The room was clean and comfy and views were gorgeous. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful... More

We loved our 2 night stay at San Luca where we went down 4 floors to our room that was on a cliff with a fabulous view. And for only 80 Euros we had a cozy room, small but all we needed. We loved the area with lots of great restaurants and even took in a cooking class while in... More

This is the hotel we stay at whenever we visit Cortona. It is located at one end of the Via Nationale, so is very convenient for shops, dining, etc. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Breakfast is usually served on the terrace on the top floor, giving a wonderful view of the Val di Chiana. Many people arrive at the... More
