Very good value, not sure about the 4 star rating. Staff, and cleanliness was really good. Bedroom size very spacious. Breakfast as per most continental hotels, lots of cakes \(for breakfast???). Definitely would return as ideally placed for Cortona sights and local sightseeing

The hotel is well located on a small square and at the start of a pedestrian street. Our room was smallish, and the bathroom was small. The carpet could do with an upgrade. But the view from our room, and the breakfast room made up for anything that wasn't so wonderful. The man at the desk was friendly and helpful... More

The views are why you come to the San Luca! From the breakfast area it is a fantastic vista (and 1/2 the rooms!). The rooms were clean, quiet and had good AC. The breakfast was best described as adequate. One type of cereal, some fruit salad, cold ham and cheese and pastries. But very laid-back and great views to start... More

We had a room with a balcony at the back of the hotel enjoying the wonderful view. The hotel staff are superb, helpful in every way. We were disappointed with the breakfast, apart from one day the fruit was tinned and dreadful bread and no toaster. If you prefer not to eat cakes and flans for breakfast you're stuck! Some... More

one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. the check in was fast and efficient, my room was beautiful with a print of Fra Angelico's Annunciation. the bathroom was big with lots of toiletries. but for me the selection at breakfast was the best ever. so much to choose from and all freshly baked scones, croissants. plenty of fruit,... I have just returned from a stay at Cortona, let me start by saying is probably one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited....But.... San Luca Hotel is terrible!! The worst hotel I have ever stayed in!!! Not a 4 star, at best a 2 star and that's for the views. Rooms are 1970's decor, dark, small, no... More

We found ourselves with extra time in Italy and decided a day and night in the unvisited Cortona was an interesting option. As it turned out a wonderful choice of both town and hotel. The Hotel San Luca is a real gem ! The staff very helpful and professional, the rooms very comfortable and the views....!!! You will not believe... More

We spent two lovely nights at this establishment that has a beautiful view and the perfect location which is centrally located to everything. The staff was very helpful, the room very clean and the views from just about everywhere is spectacular.

Just returned from a stay at hotel San Luca and needless to say, we were not disappointed. This hotel is centrally located near the main piazza in Cortona and about a 30 minute walk from the infamous Bramasole of "Under the Tuscan Sun" fame. The view from the hotel rooms is spectacular. The grounds are well-maintained and the rooms are... More

We so enjoyed our 6 night stay here. Thank you Massimo for opening up a little earlier to accommodate us! We really and truly appreciated the kindness and to Maria and other great staff you have working with you there. We understood that there would be some small issues as we were there so early in the season. We loved... More
