We discovered all of Italy from Millan to Napoles for our 25th year wedding anniversary. We stayed in all hotels and were exposed to all kinds of service ALL OVER ITALY! THE STAFF AND OWNER OF HOTEL SAN LUCA WENT BEYOND WHAT WE COULD EVER EXPECTED! Our silver wedding wouldn't of been the same without their support! From the 1st... More

Hotel San Luca has a perfect location and offers beautiful views over the fields and lakeside of Tuscany/Umbria. Rooms seem to be not very spacious, but adequate for two. We had a room with balcony facing the beautuful landscape, and I would surely stay in this hotel next time visiting Cortona. Staff was very friendly and it was nice to... More

Let's clear this up right at the beginning: this is not a 4 star hotel. Or at least not yet. They are trying to slowly upgrade some of the rooms but they have quite a ways to go. It is a family owned hotel so not part of any large hotel chain. The rooms are small. The bathrooms are adequate.... More

For the hotel, I like to rate between 'very good' and 'excellent'. For the people, I want to rate 'double excellent'. Why? Hotel San Luca is located right inside the city wall of Cortona. Your GPS cannot take you to the hotel. Especially if you arrive from north or west, you'll end up at the big public car park south... More

I stayed at this hotel on my honeymoon in October 2013. The hotel is really nice. The staff is very friendly, and they go out of their way to make sure you have a great stay and a great time exploring this part of Italy. The location of the hotel is great, just a short cab ride from the train... More

This hotel was a stop on our three week journey through France/Italy and it was a beautiful surprise. We drove by motorbike, it was hard to find but luckily we had a sat nav. It is located in a small village which is beautiful. We spent two nights here. The hotel is a bit out dated and our room had a... More

This is a great hotel. And a very, very helpful staff. Although it is located parallel to the busiest street in this small town, it is quiet and very comfortable. The view from my room went on for mies and miles. Quiet happy with the breakfasts and the outdoor patio was very pleasant at the end of the day.

We are staying two nights and our breakfast this first day was possibly worst ever. The sliced cheese must have been several days old, the bread dry, the coffe was cold. The staff didn't fill up when something was missing. And my wife had to fetch her coat since there were no free tables inside.

We found this hotel here on trip advisor and based on the reviews we booked our stay. Very Happy with this Hotel!! We had a balcony overlooking the Tuscan valley that was just beautiful. The room was comfortable! The bathroom was also big enough with a step in shower and good water pressure too!! Elisa at reception was such a... More

This hotel's staff took great care of us when we arrived one day earlier than our tour group. They went out of their way to make sure that our reservations got linked so that we would not have to change rooms. This hotel is on a hill with the lobby / reception area and breakfast room on top - you... More
