If I could give the hotel and its staff 10 stars, I would! The Villa Marsili has hired and trained the most remarkable, friendly, informative and helpful staff we've ever encountered, and we've traveled all over Italy. Yoana was able to assist us when we had a family emergency and had to cancel part of our trip. The breakfast and... More

This hotel is by far the best we've ever stayed in. It really is the complete package, from the gorgeous large rooms (we stayed in no 10) with stunning views, to the friendly helpful staff and a breakfast to die for. To start the day evening, we were surprised with some beautiful apertrives before dinner and then some biscuits and... More

We stayed here for only 3 nights as part of our holiday and we definitely wished we could have stayed longer. The hotel is beautiful and the staff are exceptional. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, we felt so welcome and right at home. We enjoyed a fantastic breakfast each day, early evening cocktail hour before... More

Villa Marsili is an exceptional, lovely place! The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable and we had a beautiful view from our room over the surrounding valley. Breakfast was incredible - a full buffet of a variety of delicious options. And the staff is fabulous! Everyone at the reception was friendly, helpful and welcoming! I would definitely stay there again... More

We stayed here for the second time and will definitely return again. The Customer service from Luana and all the staff was exceptional. The breakfast and evening hors d'erves were freshly prepared and delicious. The rooms were tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Cortona is well worth a visit with some good restaurants. Highly recommended!

Stayed 5 nights in this beautiful hotel. The view from our room was absolutely gorgeous overlooking the Tuscan landscape. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast each morning and our in room fridge was stocked daily. We had turn down service each evening. The frescoed walls and ceilings add more beauty to this gem.The staff go all out to make you feel... More

This is my second time to this Hotel. For me it has class, history, great location, the best customer service relations and a little famous too. Diane Lane stayed here when making the movie Under the Tuscon Sun. There is even a scrap book you sign and leave comments on. Diane wrote in it twice in 2001 and 2005 when she... More

We stayed here during a small tour in May. This was easily one of the nicest places we stayed while in Italy. The staff was friendly, made us feel welcome, and spoke English well. And the views overlooking the Tuscan countryside were breathtaking. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated.

We had a little trouble finding the hotel, so we called and they came outside and flagged us down--we were that close (on foot). Our car was in the town so one of the staff went to get it for us. The welcoming person was the most charming you could imagine: she really likes her work. Our room was spotless,... More
