Excellent location, close to Cortona, Trasimeno lake shore and to the main road to Rome. Very relaxing atmosphere, great rooms, lots of green and a swimming pool. Our host Donato was very helpful in all about the surroundings. Just bring your food and you'll get wonderful vacation.

|We have just come back from 9 days here and had a wonderfully relaxing and enjoyable time. The accommodation is beautifully rustic but with essential mod cons like air conditioning - much needed in the August heat! The location is great, easy to find and just a 5 minute drive from the very lovely Cortona. There was a good choice... More

Stayed here a few days in April. The grounds were gorgeous and the room was charming. Bring your own food and you can make nice meals in the kitchen, which has dishes, pots and pans, etc. Though it was too early in the season for the swimming pool, it looked delightful. Highlights were the beautiful grounds and our host, Donato.... More

After 3 nights in a big city we were happy to spread out here and have some space, a most gorgeous pool and a kitchen to have our own breakfasts. What we didn't know was that we would have to bring everything. It was well stocked with pots, pans, plates, etc. but nothing like dish detergent or paper towels. I'm not... More

Stayed here for 2 weeks in August. To be honest the accomodation is a bit basic, particularly the kitchen. However this is being a bit picky because it is a lovely old building and our apartment (Rosemarino) was very clean. We also ate out a lot, so the kitchen wasn't a problem. The air conditioning was a real plus, as... More

Have just completed two stays at this property with my wife, the first for three days was so good we immediately booked in for another five days. This property is a gem. Located 5 mins drive from the walls of Cortona this accommodation is close to everything. Montepulchiano and San Gimignano are 20 and 40 mins drive respectively, a great... More

A very serene and rustic villa dating back to the 14th century boasts all the original features of the monastery it is named after. For me, it was a very surreal experience to be staying in a place with so much history. The property is very big, with lush green lawns. it has it's own swimming pool. It hosts self... More
