We checked this before we left on TripAdvisor and other review sites but since most of the contributions are from one-tome contributors this did not tell us anything about the value of the place. So it was a gamble and we trusted the nice words of the agent taking care of the reservations. The plot with appartments is part of... More

We just spent three weeks in Italy. The last 10 days were spent at Il Giardino degli Ulivi. We were very pleased with the apartment. It was clean, spacious and very comfortable for an extended stay. The location is great for exploring Tuscany and Umbria, but you would need to have a rented vehicle. We had rented a car in... More

Located at the feet of Cortona's hills, nearby Montepulciano and Arezzo, Il Giardino Degli Ulivi is the perfect place to stay. My wife and I spent 2 summer holidays there (2007 and 2008) and will go back next August. We enjoyed he rooms (spacious and clean), their terrace and, my favourite, the incredible swimming pool with a view on Cortona.... More

My brother got married in Cortona and we spent nearly a week at Il Giardino (my parents, husband, 5 and 2 year old). Our setup was perfect for us---two bedrooms, two baths, separated by a kitchen and living room. The beds were very comfortable---the most comfortable of anywhere we stayed in Italy. The staff was friendly, helpful and courteous. We... More

Nice place with a nice view to Cortona. Better to in the summer if you want to enjoy the pool also. From here you can reach very easy the south of Toscana and not only.
