We have just returned from Hotel Sylesia, after staying there for three nights. It is next to a popular Beach and some lovely Beach side Restaurants for the evening, but we went there as a base to explore Taormina and Syracuse. It was perfect for us, in that it was very clean, always well presented, affordable and with a very... More

My husband and I have recently returned from Sicily, having stayed at the Hotel Sylesia. Our room (406) was clean and spacious with air conditioning, a comfy bed, a small balcony, a spacious shower room/toilet and adequate power points. A buffet style continental breakfast served in the lobby area was most welcome, particularly the lovely warm croissants with jam! Giuseppi... More

I liked this place so much and recommended it to my friend going to Letojanni soon. This is small cozy hotel held by the family. The rooms are clean, just as the rest premises of the hotel. Breakfast is a various choice, the best croissants I have ever tasted were here (brought from the baker living and working nearby). The... More

The facilities are basic but perfectly clean and adequate, with very nice breakfast and tea/coffee/drinks available from the bar anytime. Most friendly and helpful owners, and the son has a useful grasp of English. Transport links are not only the bus but the railway station is walking distance and there is a tourist information office on the way there. Street... More

Just got back from Sicily! We stayed at this hotel for 7 nights! The bus stops right infront of the hotel (interbus) which brings you to taormina. The beach is less than a 100m walk. Everything is close by - restaurants, shops. The owner of this hotel was very helpful, kind and generous!! and they have all the information on... More

Our first night was traumatic when I left my rucksack on the bus from Taormina. The owner's son leapt into his car to try and catch the bus without success, but the next day we met him at the bus station at Taormina where he discovered that bus driver was dropping my bag off at the hotel, so he drove... I spent here one night with my family. Unfortunately I had a puncture in front of the hotel. Even the owner came to give me a hand to change the wheel. There is free parking on street just in front of the hotel. Letojanni is very quiet. Nearby the hotel there are plenty of restaurants street. Price / quality ratio... More

Avoid the hustle & bustle by staying at this friendly hotel in Letojanni, just 20 mins bus ride from outside the hotel to the centre of beautiful Taormina. The hotel offers excellent value for money, the staff are welcoming & very helpful, the rooms spotless & the buffet breakfast of cereals. juices, croissants, bread, biscuits, yoghurts, fresh fruit, coffee, tea etc.sets you up... I stayed here last Summer and really enjoyed the quaint like village. It is more relaxed and less crowded than Taormina. The Hotel itself was cheap and cheerful. Although the staff did not have much English I found them always obliging and willing to help. They even helped me out when I got a jellyfish sting! The room was spacious... More

We have spend two vacations on Hotel Sylesia and on both times everything has been perfect! Honestly, if we could we would give them six stars! Hotel Sylesia is in perfect location for a relaxing beach holiday as well as for exploring Sicily (near mount Etna, Taormina, Godfather movie scenes and so on). The atmosphere of Letojanni village is also... More
