With right room get probably best views of both sea & Mt Etna of any hotel in Taormina, also on-site parking. BUT for 4 star, rooms and bathrooms are unacceptably small, no mini-fridge and breakfast selection very basic. Lift far too small & looks like goods lift. Booked through Ryanair. more

The decor in the Mediterranee is definitely dated, but if this isn't an issue for you then the hotel is fine. Everything is clean and works, and although the shower was a bit small it did it's job ok. If you stay here you must book a room with the spectacular view of BOTH Mt. Etna and the sea. True the rooms are small and the bathroom even smaller than usual, but it is worth the trade off.
