Once someone told me: If you dont have anything positiv to say, then dont say anything... They have an amazing view! There is a pool. Hotel is located over the main street - close by ;o) The bed is comfortable. Bathrooms are equipped with bathtubs. Reception has two serviceminded young men.

I have to start this review by saying on the night we arrived I was determined that we were not going to stay. We were in Taormina for a wedding. First impressions are of a tired, old and slightly odd little hotel. We checked in late at night and then went to join the rest of our group who were... More

We were a bit apprehensive about our stay here given some of the previous reviews. But I'm glad that we ignored them and booked anyway. We stayed here for just over a week as part of a tour around the island and am very glad we did. Our room didn't have a balcony but had a fantastic sea view on... More

Very disappointed by the way they treat tourists. I chose the hotel because I wanted to enjoy the last swim for this summer. When I got there I went to the room and I phoned the reception asking for the pool. Someone answered and told me the pool was not working and put the phone down. It was evening when... More

The Mediterranee Hotel was built in 1960 and it certainly looks like it. Walking into this hotel is like stepping into a time warp. It's shabby-sheik without the sheik. I'm not sure if any improvements have taken place at all since its construction. The elevator is truly ancient barely holding an overweight man. Our rooms were on the 4th floor.... More

We stayed here for three nights recently as part of our holiday. we booked mainly for the views of Etna and the coast from the room and we were not disappointed. The hotel I guess was built in the 70's and would have been really something then. Now it is best described as well preserved... our room was small, slightly... More

This hotel is close to all attractions. Only a short trip by cable cart to the main beach however the staff were not helpful at all especially when we complained about the sewerage smell coming from our bathroom. Their solution was to spray the room with deodorant. It was disgusting. Dont stay at this hotel.

Hotel was faced on busy road and constant noise was very disturbing all day. I asked hotel staff to change rooms but he just told me to close the window and put air-condition on. I put air-conditioning on but really old one and doesn't work than making noise instead. Not friendly and not helpful at all. I closed the window... More

This hotel suited our vacation routine pertfectly. We woke and had a nice healthy breakfast with amazing views. This set us up for walking through town every day, which is a five minute stroll from the front door. After taking in Taorimina and late-lunching downtown, we hit the closest grocery store (on the way back) for a few adult beverages... More
