Very well situated, old style european hotel (meaning small shower), family owned. Rooms are confortable, some have astonishing views. The breakfast is fair with the assistance of Mr Mario who made my stay an A+. It is safe and clean with the family owners trying to do what they can to make your stay an enjoyable one. I have stayed... More

Hotel del Corso is an old style European Hotel, built years before air conditioning & wifi were considered to be basic human rights in the days when lifts were tiny and showers showered rather than deluged. As such, it is possibly unsuitable for anyone wedded too firmly to the second decade of the 21st century , but for those who... More

This small family-run hotel is right on the Corso Umberto in the very centre of Taormina, the staff are very friendly and helpful; it's a great location and very handy for the reasonably-priced municipal car park nearby. It was rather chilly during our stay at New Year 2015 and it would probably be best to plan a visit in the... More

Four of us stayed for 3 nights at this hotel and paid for rooms with sea views.we were on the 1st floor and had sea glimpses but the weather was foggy for 3 days anyway. the rooms are very small and tiny bathrooms with hotwater that takes 10min to get hot, the air-con refused to work so was cold at... We spent 4 nights in this hotel, and loved it. the location can't be beat; a 3 minute walk from the Porta Catania parking garage, just inside the old walls. very close to excellent restaurants, gelaterias and shops. The staff were incredibly friendly, spoke excellent English and went out of their way to be helpful. Prices were very reasonable, and... More

Not expensive , located just inside the commercial retail gate that is Taomina. Run by a very attentive family that delivered at every request . Hey, rooms not palatial but it's not a hostel . Great views clean bathroom . Breakfast is served upstairs to this amazing view of Mt Etna and the beautiful coast line and if you look... More

This was our third stay (September 2014) at this wonderful, family-run hotel, located at the start of Taormina’s main street – Corso Umberto. It is immensely convenient to be able to pop in and out several times a day. We chose a room overlooking the spectacular bay. The room and adjoining private bathroom were spacious, clean, with air-conditioning and a... More

Wonderful hotel to stay in - in the middle of town located on the quiet end of the main road. Very friendly employees. Beautiful view from breakfast room /roof terrace of Giardini Naxos, the volcano Etna and Taormina surroundings. Overlooked 3 weddings from our terrace facing the back garden.

We stayed one week in Hotel del Corso in June 2014. The whole staff was friendly and helpful all the time. Our room was simple but tidy. The breakfast was deliciuos and the views.. absolutely amazing! The hotel located on the main street (Corso Umberto) so all the shops, cafés and restaurants were very close. I can absolutely recommend this... More

This hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good, a selection of cereals, breads and pastries. Ask for an ocean view, they have balconies facing the ocean, hard to find in a tight mountain town like Taormina. The location is also perfect; inside the town gates and on the main drag... More
