We had a fantastic visit at this hotel ! It was as expected a very up market 5* plus hotel with the cuisine and service you would expect but so much more . The position of the hotel is breathtaking and the views to die for- you need to explore a bit and not rely on the shuttle and then... more

First things first:- what are you looking for in a holiday? If it a quiet retreat where you will hardly have to move from your lounger, then this is a good choice, provided you have a significant amount of holiday spending money. The hotel is a bit out of the city centre and as such is very quiet. I adored... more

The room was very clean and beautiful, we had a sea side view with a terrace and loved sitting out and enjoying the beauty and tranquility. The Hotel staff was wonderful and very, very helpful. The shuttle bus to and from town was nice but sometimes the bellboy or driver didn't show up on time or early and we would... more

My Husband organised our Honeymoon which included an 8 night stay in this hotel which was amazing. We arrived tired and hungry and were warmly welcomed into the hotel and shown to the restaurant where we had a beautiful, relaxed lunch with excellent service. Warm home made bread was served which I can still taste!!! The service for the entire... more

As a late summer destination Sicily promised a good chance of sun. And predominately this was the case - although local climate as a result of the Etna effect did provide more cloud than anticipated. The external presentation of the hotel as you approach is a little disappointing however once in the reception area it starts to improve. Ensure you... more

If you are in need of a relaxing and tranquil rest you will enjoy all that this hotel has to offer. The rooms are well appointed and the little extras of complimentary English newspaper of your choice as well as free Wi-Fi were nice added touches. We were very pleased that we had paid the extra for a room with... more

Spent a week relaxing in this most elegant hotel. Our welcome was warm and courteous and was a foretaste of the excellent service we were to receive throughout our stay. Our Junior Suite was large and tastefully furnished with a spacious bathroom, large terrace and glorious views. Housekeeping was superb with the room being kept spotlessly clean. The quality of... more

We spent our honeymoon here and having spent quite a lot on the ''Honeymoon package', we were expecting much much more. The rooms were small, two single beds pushed together( I thought a double bed would have been a given for a couple on honeymoon!!) The staff at the seriously overpriced and equally over-rated restaurant were unfriendly and service slow.... more

Beautiful, spotlessly clean 5 star hotel in a fantastic location but spoilt by the fact that the restaurant and bar prices are obscenely high. ( 16 euro for a gin & tonic and about 170 euro+ for a normal meal for 2). Hence the restaurant was always virtually empty at lunchtime and evenings. You will be charged 5 euro for... more

The San Pietro exceeded all our expectations as a 5 star Italian hotel. It was simplicity, beauty and sophistication all rolled into one. The rooms was perfect, and elegant with a large terrace. The service was unsurpassed, with nothing being too much trouble (special thanks to Luca). The garden terrace, pool and views were breathtaking every day when you looked... more
