For our first trip to Sicily/ Taormina with our 7 and 9 yr-olds, we wanted: economical accommodations within walking distance to Corso Umberto, ample breakfast with coffee, a good sized room for 4 people, a balcony, a modern bathroom, and a pool for the kids. After a long search on TA, I settled on Hotel Soleado. Upon arrival and seeing... More

I travelled to Taormina 4 years back and I was so glad to return! Soleado is a cute family run hotel just a short walk from the main town centre. There was 4 of us staying in two twin rooms and we all liked our rooms. My only complaint was that room 67 shower was extremely small that it made... More

We stayed for 4 nights at this hotel. It is not exactly at the center but it was just around 10-15 minutes away from the main streets. It is set in a very peaceful area enjoying amazing sea views. It is a family run hotel with very friendly staff. We had a very warm welcome and we were offered help... More

The Soleado is set is a quiet area a few minutes walk from Corso Umberto. It is a modern hotel with good facilities although I would recommend upgrading from a standard room if possible to have a pool/sea view. Roberto and his family are very friendly and helpful; they are able to book trips and arrange taxis to beaches etc... More

The family running this hotel are all so helpful and greet you warmly each time you enter the reception. You can tell that they put a lot of hard work into running the hotel and provide a great service. The location was excellent, in walking distance of the Taormina centre. The room is a nice enough size with nice modern... More

Can't thank Roberto and his family enough for a great 12 days in Taormina. Hotel is a five minute walk from corso umberto street. Hotel is very quiet and clean. Everything you need, complete with wonderful breakfast every morning. Don't forget to try Etna Ristorante just down from hotel. Roberto recommended it and it was delicious and excellent prices. Would... More

We really liked it here. This family owned hotel is quaint, convenient, and reasonably priced. The family went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. They even loaned us some beach towels when we didn't have any. The rooms are just fine, nice to have a balcony, and the Wi-Fi works well. It may be a little... More

Upon arrival, wasn't too sure if we'd bagged a winner or not .....the decor is dated....BUT please read on....Roberto and his family run a good value, very clean and friendly and accommodating hotel......with a shallow but pleasant pool, something which you don't always get in Italian hotels!..... and the bathroom was spacious, modern and clean. The bedroom was big enough... More

We really enjoyed the hospitality of Roberto and his family. This is a 2* hotel so dont expect luxury...but all the basics are there...a reasonably sized, clean aircon room with a decent bed. We had a balcony with a partial sea view. The pool is an added bonus to cool off in. What we liked was the fact we were... More
