We really liked it here. This family owned hotel is quaint, convenient, and reasonably priced. The family went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. They even loaned us some beach towels when we didn't have any. The rooms are just fine, nice to have a balcony, and the Wi-Fi works well. It may be a little... More

Upon arrival, wasn't too sure if we'd bagged a winner or not .....the decor is dated....BUT please read on....Roberto and his family run a good value, very clean and friendly and accommodating hotel......with a shallow but pleasant pool, something which you don't always get in Italian hotels!..... and the bathroom was spacious, modern and clean. The bedroom was big enough... More

We really enjoyed the hospitality of Roberto and his family. This is a 2* hotel so dont expect luxury...but all the basics are there...a reasonably sized, clean aircon room with a decent bed. We had a balcony with a partial sea view. The pool is an added bonus to cool off in. What we liked was the fact we were... More

Having just returned from a fantastic two week stay at the Soleado my partner and I can not recommend it enough! Roberto and his family were fantastic. We were made to feel welcome from the minute we arrived until the minute we left. Nothing was a problem. The hotel offers great value for money and is ideally located.

We stayed her for 5 days in May. Great location, walking distance (appx. 5 minutes) to the main street and main attractions. A 5 minute walk to bus station where you can take a bus to Isola Bella. The hotel location is also an easy walk (approximately 10 min - slightly downhill) to bus terminal where you can take a... More

This is a lovely family run hotel in an excellent location - only a 5 minute walk from the Main Street. Roberto and his family are extremely welcoming and friendly. The rooms are basic but kept very clean and have efficient air conditioning! The pool area is really nice as is the terrace area - the perfect place to enjoy... More

We stayed at this hotel for three nights around the middle of June and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Soleado is situated about five minutes level walk from the town's main streets. It is family run by Roberto and his family all of whom could not be more helpful and friendly whenever we wanted information or just friendly conversation. I... More

Would recommend this hotel for your stay in taormina. Great value. Good room size. Sea views. Try to get a room facing the sea on second floor or higher. Short walk (10-15min) from city Centre. Parking available close to hotel (at 10€\day) Very nice varied breakfast from 730. Nice Pool Very friendly hotel staff Would visit again

I stayed at the Soleado Hotel in Taormina for 3 nights with my boyfriend in June as part of a tour of Sicily. The hotel is well located not far from the centre, Corso Umberto with all its restaurants shops and bars but far enough away that you don’t hear all the noise. It’s in a quiet location. It has... Great location - tucked away yet within a 5 minute walk of the main shopping and dining areas, Teatro, botanical gardens etc. Roberto could not have been more welcoming and our room was beautiful with a lovely balcony with distant sea views and overlooking the pool to one side. Lovely breakfast too. We only stayed one night this time but... More
