This hotel is worth the 4 star rating if you can get a good view. We had an excellent one - our balcony overlooked the coastline. The rooms are clean, but they are a bit tired. The Sirius has enormous terraces with fabulous views to the north of Taormina - really beautiful. Our room was huge, with an enormous bathroom that included a bath. Hotel Sirius is a fabulous hotel in an excellent location. It is very close to the main area of Taormina, and also beside the cable car and the bus terminal. We stayed at the Sirius in August 2012. The first thing you see on arrival is the magnificent sea view with Mount Etna in the distance. It was even better than the description in the travel brochure.
