Booked in for 2 nights in July. Reasonably hot weather 32 -35 degrees. Given room overlooking swimming pool, the air conditioning did not work, first advised of the problem at 11.00am it took until 6.00pm for them to admit the problem then move us to another room ( in the Ne section) . I think the air conditioning in the... More

We stayed for a week at the beginning of May. Everything is OK but nothing is great. The aircon in our room was fairly poor and given we were at the beginning of the season I don't think it would have been adequate come summer. We used the pool once but it was fairly grimey (it got cleaned on our... More

Most friendly staff, the Andromaco Palace is a well run hotel with comfortable bedrooms, comfortable breakfast room and heated outddor pool. We stayed in their bridal suite with it's long balcony beneath Sicilian arches, overlooking the pool. The hotel is in a quiet residential location about 10 minutes walk from the ancient/historic/gastronomic/tax free shopping town of Taormina which boasts a... More

The location is great. A ten minute walk from the main part of Taormina. From the main street you can see historic ruins, take a cable car to the beach, enjoy chic restaurants & shopping, all while taking in breathtaking views of Mt. Etna erupting. You are just far enough from the main street to get a bit of peace... More

Having stayed at this hotel whenever in Taormina for some 10 years now, I feel it long overdue to post a review of our little hidden gem. Yes its a 10 min walk from the centre of Taormina, through a very quiet residential area, but its worth it solely for the peace & quiet you get once there - you're... More

Just 10min walk to the entrance of the historical city area. Really quiet and cozy place to spend vacations with a reasonably small buget. Splendid view from the balcony. It's pitty, It was still too cold to swim in their own swimming pool with a jet bath. Lovely wide-ranged breakfast in the sunny side cafe'. Friendly staff. I'll surely go... More

Had to get a taxi to find the hotel as it was well tucked away. There is hardly ever anyone on reception, our room was nice and clean but its not worth getting out of bed for the breakfast, there was a choice of ham one day, cheese the next. Watered down orange squash, water and milk, tomatoes, rolls and... More

We stayed in one of the Hotel's Apartments (3 bedrooms) for 7 nights in late July. The Apartment was just across the road from the hotel, 3 very large bedrooms, kitchen, small lounge area, 2 balconies and a patio/garden area. Traditional design with air con and a nice sea view from the rear. The rooms were amazing and there was plenty... More

We arrived in the early evening to find the hotel tucked away, could have been nice little did we know. Check in was hard work and the first thing that you notice is the overwhelming smell of cigaret smoke. A long walk down a hot corridor and some stairs that are only just wide enough for the suit case and... More
