Beautiful old building with amazing views around every corner. You can’t miss the spectacular views of smoking Mt Etna across the bay from the sunny little sitting out area. Situated in a wonderful position high on the hillside yet very conveniently set for walking a short distance into Taormina, the atmosphere was very relaxed with friendly with helpful staff never... Best for adults as nothing for children at this hotel,it's old fashion but quaint the service is second to none as its small. The views are fantastic of Etna and the coast, very pretty with the terrace gardens and patios to sit with a cold glass of wine/beer.There are no frills with this hotel but it has its own charm,of old Italy.The... Congratulations. You made the right choice. The staff. The view. The room. The decor. The breakfast. The private patio/balcony. The hidden quiet spots. The garden. Superb. A tip: don't walk up the road into town; turn left and then right up the steps; it saves 15 mins and is safer.

The hotel was quite sufficient & pleasant. Our room was large, walking into a lounge area first, then up a step into the bedroom. The bathroom was the room behind that again, & also very large. Great sized shower. But no tissues supplied!! (A small thing perhaps, but I find makes a big difference if they are missing!) There were... More

This is a really pretty, traditional hotel with stunning views of the sea and Mount Etna from everywhere. A grand Edwardian building that it a bit tatty around the edges, as it should be, it is perfect if you like a bit of shabby chic, but no good for those who want everything shiny and space-age. Peaceful location and about... More

Loved the fact that this hotel was tranquil, full of character and in a lovely location. All staff were extremely friendly especially Sebastiano. We loved the Sicilian Dinner which was great value and delicious, enhanced by the staff entertaining us afterwards on piano and guitar. Our only disappointment was that this great event only took place once over the week-more please! It... More

This is a lovely small hotel set about 10/15 minutes walk from the centre of Taormina. The walk is uphill and will need to be made every day as the hotel does not serve dinner (a Sicilian evening was offered on one night of our stay though). The breakfast was continental and a good selection. You can also get paninis... More

Stayed here for 7 nights in April. If you are looking for a 3 Star Hotel with Sicilian character and charm, stunning views of the sea and Mount Etna, then this place has to be on your list. We stayed in Room 34 which had a terrace overlooking the sea, and with this view to greet you when waking first... More

Wonderful place which was easy to find and nicely positioned between the beach and the old town. Easy access to both. Great two storey room giving the kids and ourselves some space. The room opened to a balcony to soak up the sun and perfect spot for sunrise and views directly out to Mt. Etna - instant wow factor. The... More

A nice hotel that with just a little could be 4 stars. Breakfast in the terrace , simply delicious, with stunning view on the Ionian sea. Taormina center is just uphill , reachable in 10 min. walking. Room was comfortable , with balcony . Just some noise from the near rooms. We will come back again for sure. No internet... More
