The views are unbelievable and really make the hotel one of a kind. Be prepared for a steep walk up to town but assuming this is ok I would fully recommend this nice, simple and friendly hotel. Lovely Italian simple breakfast and great service with it. Would recommend the bus shuttle to the beach good value compared with the other... More

Short stay with friends. It was just lovely! A traditional Sicilian villa with very good taste furnitures. Clean and personal stuff very kind and helpful. Close to the city center but far from the messy and crowd. I would really like to return for a romantic stay with my husband!

We stayed here for 5 nights and totally enjoyed the stay. Our room had a view of Mount Etna on one side and the Mediterranean on the other! Every room also has a little outdoor sitting area, if all the other pleasant outdoor areas to sit and stare out into the sea were not enough. The breakfast glass house area... More

I chose this hotel because it does not have a pool and so hopefully would not attract families with children, It is also located on the side of a hill that leads to another hill followed by steep steps up to Taormina meaning that people who would moan about a hilly location would not consider this an option. Both those... More

We spent a great times. Staff were always nice, kind, friendly. Nice breakfast, every morning we had a new clean towels. The sea views are amazing and being able to watch the volcanic activity from the terrace at night was a bonus. Every thing was perfect. Thank you. Wioletta

We have just come home from this hotel and wished we could have stayed longer! It was bliss! The setting is second to none. We had a room overlooking the sea with a terrace outside which was perfect for sunbathing or just chilling out. There is a lovely terrace in the garden that overlooks Etna and as it was erupting... On arrival, we were shown to our very spacious room, which possessed a large comfortable bed and a good shower but in common with many Mediterranean-style hotels, could have done with a little more drawer and storage space...and then we opened the shutters! What a view! Who cares about storage space?!!!! From our shared terrace, we could see the Bay... More

This hotel is a beautiful old typical Sicilian hotel. At first I thought it was a bit basic but that is its charm. The rooms are clean and the bathroom has been updated. There is also a a modern FST TV, not that we watch tv. I hope they do not modernise it any more as it is perfect as... More

We stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel has been a family hotel for more than a century. The views to Etna and the ocean is fantastic from the breakfast rooms. Make you forget that the breakfast is kind of boring. The owner is very friendly and helpful.

It was VERY quiet (seemed like there were no guests, no hotel staff) at the time we were there. Nice breakfast, clean room, stunning view from our balcony (of the sea), breathtaking view of Etna from the garden. Not very well working shower in the room. The bed was not comfortable comparing to the "average" hotel bed. There was no... More
