The major problem is the number of stairs to go up or down as the Hotel is built on multi levels in the steephillside side. The staff were helpful and the food was good and the views were fabulous ( except we could not see Etna as there was too much cloud) On the whole a nice family run hotel

We stayed at Villa Greta in October and what a wonderful choice it was. Taormina is a great town, lots of fabulous places to eat with spectacular views. Our hotel room overlooked Mount Etna and the sea, we had a sweet little balcony with table and chairs and was a real suntrap. The bed was very comfortable with quality linen... More

Looking for a really bad hotel experience? Look no further than the Villa Greta in Taormina, Italy . Make and pay for your reservation and they give instant response to one’s inquiries. After they have your money, forget customer service! Ask them how to get from the train station to their hotel? No response - your on your own. Arrive... More

Exhausted from the flight from Naples and the bus journey to Taormina, immediately after arrival at the bus-terminal we decided to take a taxi. Despite the fiery-tempered taxi driver stopping to blow his top at jaywalking locals we were eventually dropped off at a staircase too steep for our fragile luggage lugging state. This would be the first of many... More

We enjoyed the stay a lot. We had a room with view on the Etna and Taormina - that was really breatheaking! We stayed there three nights and also took a meal in the restaurant. We enjoyed the food and the wine there and the view from the terrace of the restaurant is breathtaking, too. The staff is very friendly.... More

This hotel is located a bit away from Taormina center, which makes it difficult to reach it, especialy when the weather is hot, because of the many stairs you need to climb. The view from the room is amazing, watching the Etna and the sea. It is clean and comfortable and there is air conditioning in the room. A fridge... More

My room was located two floors above the main lobby. The view from the balcony was fabulous. Wifi was only supposed to work in the lobby, but because I was directly above, I picked up a signal. When I stayed there, no one spoke English, but I managed fine. The hotel is located above the town center in a nice... More

We were greeted by Pino upon arrival who is one of the owners of the hotel - he was very helpful and made us feel very welcomed from day 1. All the staff were very accommodating with us and were all willing to help answer any questions we had and give us recommendations. The room was small but perfect for... More

Sort of close to the city main street, the thing is you will need to take long and bad stair. Beds are good but we booked for a four single bed bedroom and got a queen size and bunk bedroom. The view is great, you can see the Etna Mountain and it gets better during the sunset. The internet does... More

This small and traditional hotel was nice and cozy. It had a great view over the bay and the volcano at a distance. A bit of a walk to arrive but the bus passes right behind the hotel so it is easy to reach that way.
