The hotel is situated right on the beach. It is also just a couple of minutes (on foot) from the cable car that leads up to the town of Taormina. It is.ideal for a relaxing beach holiday and for exploring Taormina. I would strongly recommend booking a room with a view of the bay. The balconies are generously-proportioned (with two... More

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for two weeks. We wanted a place in the sun and had never been to Sicily before. The travel agent recommended it and booked it on a B&B basis. Our room was on the 4th Floor and had a balcony overlooking the sea. It seemed that most rooms had a view of... More

First impressions on arrival at hotel were good; room not huge and a little dated but generally very comfortable with lovely terrace overlooking the pretty bay. Quiet and peaceful. Beach however proved disappointing. It is supposed to be a private - but there were constant hawkers trying to sell massages, fake handbags etc. etc. - and the hotel staff did... More

Beautiful hotel in lots of ways but its not a five star . Red carpet on the entrance steps is worn to the colour black .,The room we got was small and overlooked a wall. The bathroom was clean and modern but was very small .lovely comfortable bed and pillows . There is a nice choice of food for breakfast... More

I stayed here with my family for one night on a recent visit to Sicily. The hotel is ideally situated next to the sea and only a few minutes walk from the funicular up to Taormina town. The decor of the hotel is dated and rather tired. The pool is small, although there were plenty of sunbeds and the beach... More

When we choose a hotel we look first at the location. In Taormina you can stay up in the town or stay below the town on the beach with sea views. We chose the latter and we were not disappointed. On arrival receptionist very helpful although command of the English language, as in Taormina generally not as good as it could... More

We spent a very pleasant week nights at Mazzaro Sea Palace. Our spacious room on the third floor had a lovely balcony overloking the very prettyy bay. with water front view. The location is perfect as the hotel outside the town of Taormina but only a minute from the cable car which takes you right up the hill too town.... More

We spent four nights at Mazzaro Sea Palace with water front view. Rooms are large, breakfast outdoors was great, beach view and access was outstanding. The location was perfect as the hotel is not up in the town of Taormina as access to town is via tram which is two blocks from the hotel. A few small shops are close... More

We loved it. We had room 125. View was incredible and on the beach. Pricey and a little in need of refurb. Only sand beach in area. Easy access to Taormina. Restaurant service and food were excellent.

Beautiful views of the small bay. Easy walk to the cable car up to Taormina, or a perfectly reasonable walk by nearby pathway. Small food market across the street. Excellent breakfast: indoors or patio. Nice large room. But their physical plant needed some work: I had 3 cold showers out of 8, and the air conditioning was off for a... More
