We loved it. We had room 125. View was incredible and on the beach. Pricey and a little in need of refurb. Only sand beach in area. Easy access to Taormina. Restaurant service and food were excellent.

Beautiful views of the small bay. Easy walk to the cable car up to Taormina, or a perfectly reasonable walk by nearby pathway. Small food market across the street. Excellent breakfast: indoors or patio. Nice large room. But their physical plant needed some work: I had 3 cold showers out of 8, and the air conditioning was off for a... More

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at! The terrace, the pool, the view, the beach, the location- it is all perfect. The staff is ever accommodating as well. Just a comment on the location, this hotel is in a small inlet beach cove- beautiful, you can take the vernacular up to the town of Taormina to spend... More

You cannot beat this location! Right on a private bay, with a stunning view of the sea. And just a few minutes' walk to the funicular up to the gorgeous town of Taormina. Small market and restaurants nearby. A fabulous breakfast buffet with anything you could want. Only two complaints: no free wifi, and, even in October, the mosquitos were... More

Yes the rooms are a bit dated but this is a classic Hotel and is not pretending to be a Novotel. Everything is clean but old, creaky beds, taps that drip etc. Service we found to be excellent. Beautiful terrace to enjoy breakfast and all seafacing rooms have wonderful balconies with view over the whole bay. Parking is a problem... More

We loved the hotel, the pool, the beach and our room. However, the best was the two times we ate in the restaurant. Typical Sicilian Cuisine - really really good. We'll be back! All rooms are overlooking the sea and it was very easy to take the Cable up to Taormina in the evening.

Terrible management hotel, Situated in a beautiful beach and great location.. 2mins away from Cable car! We arrived at about 2.30pm and were told, can only check in one room at that time, bit disappointing but didn't make a fuss. When rooms were finally ready, were giving rooms with no view and air condition wasn't working either...we paid for Sea View rooms... More

We have just returned from the Mazzaro Sea Palace and cannot tell you how disappointed we were. Ok so the view is amazing - we had a large junior suite with a terrace. The hotel is dark and tired. I dont think it has been decorated in over 30 years. The rooms are so tired and the bathroom very old... More

This hotel earns it's five-star rating. We had a very comfortable room with lots of closets and a wonderful balcony overlooking the sea. The hotel is a one block walk from the cable car that takes you to the old town itself, and the cars run frequently from early morning to late at night. Our only disappointment was that wi-fi...
