You get a good idea of the hotel from the recent reviews. We loved the quiet, the location, our balcony directly overlooking the sea (junior suite), the great breakfast (OMG, the chocolate croissants are just fab), our room and bathroom great, staff pretty nice. The hotel in general has a kind of old world, classy, refined (kind of Agatha Christie?!)... More

We recently spent a week here. The hotel is in a great location for a beach holiday. Our room was about a 3 minute walk to the beach! The Breakfast buffet was good with a wide selection to choose from. It was possible to get freshly cooked eggs or omelettes. Staff were very attentive. The reception staff were helpful with... More

Charming old fashioned hotel, reminds me of Lugano hotels in Switzerland. Great staff who upgraded us to a suite! We didn't even ask for it! Love the hotel beach and the view on the creek from our room. Sicily is so relaxing, we ant to go back there asap! The restaurant is a bit pricy in the hotel, treat yourself... More

I would like to stress one thing: this hotel is very decent. I found common interiors and my room very elegant and rather spacious. The furniture is old and is made of a good-quality wood.. But the sockets are located very uncomfortably to charge the mobile etc. the electricity switches off several times a day, it means that the TV... More

This hotel is located above the sea, offering options for snorkeling in clear waters and boating around Isola Bella and beyond. The cable car service to the town is nearby and a convenient, panoramic way to get there. Bus service is also available. Enormous breakfast buffet at the hotel offers wide choice. My room had a spectacular view!

I was staying for 4 nights , in september , very beautiful location , big rooms, clean , good services . The only thing which was out of the picture was the breakfast. No olives and orange juice in Sicilia ??? Every morning the breakfast was the same and the waiters were running around like headless chicken.

Would we stay here again? This is a 'maybe, maybe not' hotel. On the plus side, the location is good - the cable car station is a couple of mins walk away ... note that the mother of all storms did some damage on the 9th Sept, and it's currently out of action for a while, replaced by a rather... Stayed with a tour group. Group dinner was poor, about a 1. Didn't eat there solo again. Breakfast outstanding. Best I've ever seen for extensive variety. Maid staff a little confused about replacing correct towels. Hotel clean. Most or all (?) rooms have large patios overlooking ocean. WiFi is charged 10 Euros and per device. I've not seen that before.... More

The hotel is located in a great position. The staff are amazing, friendly and work very hard. The rooms are very average and without any tea/coffee facilities. There are no porters on arrival to take your luggage as they are seemingly busy with variety of other duties. The food is good and consistent in terms of quality. In summary, it... More

This hotel ranks itself as a five star. It is nowhere near 5 stars. Nice location. The hotel down the road Villa San Andrea is a MUCH better hotel. I booked 2 rooms at the Mazzaro Sea Palace. One more expensive then the other. Upon check in, we found that the rooms were identical. Not only was the manager, Francesa,... More
