Fantastic location in Taormina. Close to everything but with a wonderful junior suite with front balcony, you don't want to leave the views of Naxos bay and Etna!! We were always late going out for supper watching the sun setting. Sheer bliss. Friendly staff. Not beach people so the beach club was adequate for our 2 half day trips but... more

We enjoyed a reasonably sized bedroom with fantastic view of the bay and Etna and the beautiful gardens below. The bedroom and new bathroom were tastefully furnished and very clean. The breakfast choice was extensive including fresh fruit everyday.Situated within easy distace for restaurants, shops, walks in the mountains and sightseeing. The staff were always happy to help with local information and very friendly and... more

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and were pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Classy place with an old-school elegant feel to it. Our room had an amazing view of the ocean and the gardens next to the hotel. The hotel was conveniently situated to wander into town and also down to the beach. The staff was friendly... more

After a bit of a stressful drive around Taormina to find Villa Paradiso we were greeted with good service once we arrived. There are only three parking spaces available at the hotel so you have to be lucky to get one, however the porter accompanied my boyfriend to the nearest garage to park the car (Parking in Taormina is around... more

I would rate this hotel at 2-3 star for accommodation. The food was good at the hotel restaurant both at breakfast and evening meal but the lack of english speakers there was a slight problem. We had a junior suite that was in desperate need of a face-lift, the bathroom was shabby with dirty tiles and grouting, the bath was... more

Arrived at the Paradiso on a cool damp day and was disappointed with what I saw. First impressions go along way and I found the hotel cluttered and tired. We were asked to wait a while as our room was'nt ready and we distinctly got the impression that we were not on their list. We ended up in a room... more

My wife and myself have recently returned after spending a fortnight (mid September 2008)at the Hotel Villa Paradiso in Taormina. I would love to know how this hotel has been awarded a 4* rating? Our room was small and dingy, poor indoor lighting, we kept catching our hips on the oversized writing desk (positioned close to balcony access door), damp... more

Villa Paradiso is a family run hotel located in the centre of Taormina. It is a little frayed around the edges but has charm and character in abundance. The staff are friendly and a useful source of local knowledge, and being family run makes you feel that you are guests in their home. The hotel is in a superb location... more

The hotel was quite difficult to find, even with a sat nav! But once there, they are really friendly, helpful and charming. Taormina is a very difficult place to drive around and especially to park, but this hotel has a link with a garage just down the road which cost us about €35 for two days and two nights. The... more

From the moment when we arrived, when the elderly owner saw the insect bite on my wife's leg and went to fetch some antiinflammatory cream, to when we left we could not have been better treated. It was a rare pleasure to have such attentive staff particularly when it came to putting together a large breakfast tray for us at... more
