Didn't stay here but visited for the day whilst staying at grande San Pietro as its free to use the beautiful beach here. Ate at the beach bar, 2 salads, toasting, wine and water for 40€, reasonable Defy worth a visit

I've been in this hotel for a weekend, for a friend wedding, hosted in this hotel. The hotel went trough a renovation during the winter season, and at moment they are still working on it, so there are workers around the aisles and the halls. The elevator is insanely slow: if you push the button to go upstairs it's possible... More

I spent 3 nights in Caparena Hotel and overall my experience was good. Hotel is near the beach and has its private beach area. Building is surrounded by very beautiful, relaxing garden. Breakfast is served near the garden and beach which has a very good location with sea view. Lobby has a modern design. Whole area is clean and new,... More

This hotel was just OK. The front desk is understaffed, requiring long waits. The rooms are clean but basic. They do not provide extra blankets or sufficient toiletries such as shampoo. Worst of all, the Internet is only sporadically usable and you must go to the lobby to access it. In this day and age, hotels must realize that it... More

Stunning reception area - excellent staff - shown to rooms immediately and they were spotless - excellently furnished - clean modern bathroom spotless! Ground floor room with private terrace, had one tiny visitor most days a tiny lizard.. Beatutul hotel, sunning... More

My family and I spend at Caparena hotel 2 weeks in early July 2014. The experience was overall pleasant. The food was decent (we stayed at BB basis), though I wouldn't recommend you their evening restaurant (the menu is not very varied, the staff ban be unfriendly, don't let them ruin it for you). If I were you I would... More

We visited Taormina with a group and this was our hotel. It is not located in the heart of the city's attractions, but it has other merits. The hotel provides frequent and comfortable, complimentary shuttle service to those attractions. The room furnishings are rather basic, but many rooms provide a pleasant balcony facing the sea. The beautiful grounds are maintained... More

Stayed here for 3 nights at the end of a Sicily tour. Perfectly adequate hotel. Splendid dining room for evening meals. Hotel is close to beach with a railway line running through the grounds. This causes no problems at all. Breakfast is fine. Listen to the variety of languages whilst having breakfast. We had French, Dutch, Brazilian, so we were... More

Stayed here for three nights at the end of a Titan Sicily tour. The hotel is well situated for Taormina and leads straight onto a pebbled beach.(a railway runs between the hotel and beach but no significant noise problem arose from this and an underpass allows access) The food at breakfast was fine with good coffee, fresh baked pastries and... When my husband and I booked the hotel we were aware of the nearby train track. We were not disturbed by the evening/ night trains which did not appear to run too regularity. We closed the shutters which helped. Our room was on the 2nd floor - the 300's. It was beach facing . It was a lovely , spacious... More
