Loved the hotel but went to check in and our room was not ready, the girl behind the counter suggested we walk into the quant beautiful town! I was in the town literally one hour, my bag mysteriously disappeared from my neck!!! My passport, credit cards, cash all gone! The hotel was little help and the police were insistent there... More

We did not enjoy our 4 day stay at the hotel at all. After having an extremely noisy first night, our guide (who booked the hotel for us and knew the staff) was able to have our room changed for the last 3 nights-it was a slight improvement. Both rooms were very dimly lit (think prison-style lighting). The walls were... More

Spent four wonderful nights at the Hotel Villa Diodoro. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Views from our balcony were awesome. Staff was pleasant and accommodating. Location is great - close enough to center of town with an easy walk. Enjoyed all aspects of my stay in Taormina.

I stayed there with a group of 50 people a couple of years ago. The location is superb, the views spectacular, the rooms comfortable, food quite nice and service very good. I highly recommend it and you will enjoy your stay. I hope to return there at some point.

I stayed here on an on an escorted tour with Insight Vacations. This hotel in very nice. Very European ... The location is great, about a 10 min walk to the main shopping, dining, entertainment area. The hotel is right next door to a beautiful pubic garden. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable. The rooms are small, but do have... More

Hotel Villa Diodoro remains as one of the best experiences I've ever had while staying in a hotel. Absolutely Italian-fashioned elegant hotel, nice food, terrace, swimming pool in front of the Jovian Sea and an astonishing view of Mount Etna. I considered it as the best value / quality ratio in Taormina. Rooms very clean and perfumed with particular verandas... More

My husband and I stayed five nights at this hotel and our experience was far from pleasant. The breakfast buffet was very disorganized. It took forever to replenish items like cheese, salami, and ham. The scrambled eggs and bacon were not kept warm. We informed the staff and reception but nothing changed during our five night stay. No fresh fruit... More

We had a lovely time in this hotel, and since I left the door open during the night we thought we were getting mosquito bites....but we never saw or heard a single one. I have been advised that they were probably bedbugs...and in a hotel of this class this is a shock. This is a grand hotel. Lovely surroundings, great... More

We went here in June after being apart from my girlfriend for 6 months due to work. We wanted a relaxing break with sun, scenery and romance. Got a package deal including transfers which I would say was a good call. I was going to rent a car from the airport but I am glad I didn’t. Very challenging driving,... More

We ended our 2 week honeymoon through Italy at Villa Diodoro and have to say the hotel grounds and view from our balcony are some of the most beautiful we have seen. The hotel itself is not bad, not amazing, but you don't come to Taormina for your hotel room. We upgraded to a Superior Room with a private balcony... More
