Thank you Ariston Team! We had a beautiful vacation spent September 6 to 17 in Ariston Hotel. The room724 in Palazzo St. Caterina has a unique Sicilian design with a big terrace and sea-through the trees-view. The hotel itself is a gem with lots of things to discover: from the ancient site, and old XIV century church to a hidden... More

Located just behind the bus terminal via several steep steps or a lift this hotel offers a relaxing base away from the busy centre. It is within easy walk of many sights and five minutes from the cable car to the beach. We had a superior room which was quiet and had a view of the bay. Unfortunately no balcony... More

With one major proviso we were very pleased with this hotel, and would be happy to recommend it. The one negative is that we paid for a "Superior" room as I (rightly) suspected that standard rooms would face out on to a cliff a matter of feet from the back of the hotel. The Superior room promised a view although... More

We booked a 7 night stay through Thomsons (who we were very impressed with). On arrival we were told that our room would be ready in one hour. As we arrived at approximately 1pm this wasn't an issue and we waited in the lounge area. After an hour we asked if the room was ready and were told 5 minutes.... More

we stayed for 5 days in this hotel in August 2013. very clean and staff very nice and helpful. very close to bus terminal and to the centre. balcony view fantastic. we enjoyed very much the entertainment in our first night during dinner, a group of 3 old men dressed in sicilian traditional style playing guitar and harmonica and singing... The pool water was poor and you couldn't see more than 2 metres in front of you due the murky water. The hotel staff were nice and the food was good I would not advise the evening keels for people with children as they were quite different to what is in the UK. The Internet access was quite expensive at... More

firstly, the location. the hotel is very close to the bus terminal and about 10 minutes from the corso umberto. however, access to the hotel reception is up a number of flights of stairs and a lift, so access for the elderly or not very mobile may prove difficult. the hotel is kept clean, except for the pool. when you... Excellent service. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. A fussy teenager, with a very limited food repertoire, was offered substitute food without us requesting it. A room without a balcony was swapped for one with a balcony and the manager was very accommodating when we abandoned possessions in one room when swapping to another.Guests are really... More

Can agree with other reviewers, this hotel is in a brilliant location for everything to see in Taormina and area. Right next to the bus station and within walking distance of the local park, beach and Corso Umberto - the main street for shops, restaurants etc, and Piazza 1X Aprile. The hotel is very nice, set in beautiful gardens and... More

Very nice hotel in a beautiful setting! Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was served to us at 5:15 a.m. for our early flight out! Enough choice at breakfast. Nice swimming pool and music at dinner make this worthwhile! Rooms with balcony should be preferred.
