We stayed 2 nights in this hostel and we were pleased by the experience. It is a very original hostel with a terrace on the roof and nice balconies and common areas. The rooms were clean and comfy but the pillows were a bit large and not everyone enjoyed them. The breakfast was very nutritive and is free, and the... More

We were supposed to stay here for 4 nights but we liked it so much we stayed for 5. The owner was very helpful even when we arrived really late at night. It's in a great location, 5 minutes drive from Taormina and a 5 minute walk from the bus terminal and the beach. The girls working there were very... More

My fiancé and I are backpacking through Europe for 12 months on a tight budget. Our review below is an indication of the experience we had at the Gianni House. We stayed in a 6 bed dorm room with a private bathroom. Pros - Kitchen facilities. An excellent way to stick to our budget. We cooked most of our meals... More

The girls that work there are amazing. Amy, Holly and Sam were extremely friendly and helpful. Little disappointed that there were no pasta nights as I had read about them, however there were none whilst I stayed there. The location is actually very nice, close to the beach and close to restaurants. The girls at the hostel are also very... More

Great hostel with a great host! Clean, choice of privates & dorms, nice breakfast that you can take up on to the roof .. View of Mt. Etna from there...A 5 minute walk to the beach. Do a boat trip of the bay with Antonio too when there!

I had a very pleasant experience in Gianni's house. It is close to the beach, close to public transport and very clean. The room was very nice and enough space and the breakfast abundant with a nice terrace where you can enjoy the view just when you get up. I would definitely go back if I had the occasion and... More

After a month of youth hostels in big cities in Spain and Eastern Europe, Gianni House was a fantastic change. I stayed for 7 nights of peaceful bliss. I spent many an afternoon up on the terrace and had to show all of my friends the view via Skype. The staff and other guests were very friendly and helpful and... More

First of all, the staff and especially Gianni is overwhelming friendly! You're feeling so welcome right from the beginning and it won't stop! Gianni is explaining everything, so you can't miss anything ;) The rooms are clean and safe with private bathroom. Breakfast is really good with fresh fruits, juices, bread rolls and cereals. One highlight is the rooftop. Try... More

This was a great place to stay just outside of Taormina. Gianna and his staff were very friendly and the view of Mt Etna from the rooftop were great. It was nice to have a private bathroom in a private room. For my full review, you can go to http://www.thiswaytoparadise.com/gianni-house-hostel-good-budget-place-stay-giardini-naxos/.
